Go on. Give me any reason. Any at all. One what makes sense and is logical.

Because Stone Cold said so!

My only argument about shoulder charge is, if Bungie really didn't want it to perform as is, then they shouldn't have wasted two exotics on making shoulder charge better. Believe me, I'd much rather stand asides and peregrine to do something more useful for Titans. Those two, the emperor, the bellicose, the taukonaut, and the feedback fence can all go in the junk heap. Hopefully RoI provides Titans with something actually usable.

Because fun.

1 ReplySo we can use it over and over again to kill salty bitches like you

OK then: -Storm Fist is your Melee Charge -Shoulder Charge is a Storm Fist Kill. (Proof is Transfusion node description and Shoulder Charge Regens on kill even though it says Storm Fist) -Overload reduces Storm Fist charge time and has a chance to regen Storm Fist Charge Instantly ON HIT and Kill. AND it happens very often. -Melee recharges fast anyway With Exotics: -Insurmountable Skullfort Gives you 2 Melees and Unlocks and Auto Equips Transfusion Node for free. -Monte Carlo restores Melee Charge just from Damaging and On Kill fully restores Melee charge. In conclusion, it would be pointless. Storm Fist tied to A Shoulder Charge would be a bad idea due to storm fist recharging Very Fast in any way possible. Plus people would start using Monte Carlo which would cause to other people using it. And Insurmountable Skullfort holds two melees. Put all that together or Overload and Tier 5 Strength would result in People Still having infinite shoulder Charge. This comes from a Titan BTW.

2 RepliesBecause it's not part of the melee perk tree, silly! :3
-
Because it was never a problem before hunters got "ruined" :3

If shoulder charge gets nerfed and requires a melee charge, then titans should be able to use it without the running start. Otherwise what is the point? Better yet, if it gets nerfed, it should be moved to the melee tree and titans given a new perk to compensate for it.
-
1 - it isn't in the melee tree (more of a branch, but you get my point) 2 - to use it you have to sacrifice either juggernaut (underrated shield that can tank a rocket) or Unstoppable (raises armor while using super, speaks for itself) 3 - if it was a melee, you would be able to use it simply standing still. How exactly is that a literal charge? It's more of a scenario, like the other 2 perks in their tree (branch). Unstoppable only procs during super, and juggernaut + shoulder charge only proc while running. No charge required.
I love the literal irony lmao
-
It should use half the charge. And can use it again immediately again with the other half, then have to wait. Or it should have its own charge square thays on a 20 seconds cooldown. But if you do that then once you run 3 seconds to make it ready you don't lose it Untill you stop running or use it.

It doesn't matter. It's the new meta. The meta where Titans are the class of choice because of nerfs to the other classes. The shoulder charge is a great attack because the bullet hose auto rifles have been nerfed and grenades for both Hunters and Warlocks don't pack as much punch as the Titan nades. I hate this new meta but it is what it is. Titans enjoy your dominance hopefully it ends soon.
-
Because it isnt the melee override. If that is the case we shouldnt have storm fist and be able to use it from a stand still.
-
Why do this to yourself. You know this crowd
-
Because u have to run pretty far to charge it u huntard
-
Cause you're a salty twat.

1 Reply1st reason, your GT is potato. Pretty funny actually. 2nd reason is that each class should have something that defines it not including supers. Examples being...hunter shadestep, warlock melee, and titan shoulder charge. Each class needs to have its own definition. Shoulder charge is really not that OP. Easy to gun down honestly. A shotgun makes quick work of the rush and is a guaranteed kill everytime. Everytime!!! Now if you're a hardscoping sniper camping in the back like a bitch then you deserve to get shoulder charged a handful of times. This way it negates all of your bitch kills. Basically the old adage is styles makes fights. You bring your weapons to the table and I will bring mine. If you lose a few and I lose a few so be it. If I win more then you do then git gud and vice versa.
-
1 ReplyBecause you can "quickscope" with you sniper
-
Because then it would count as a storm fist ability, so I'd be able to use it without sprinting
-
Because it's different than the melee charge. Is that a good enough reason?
-
Implementing this into the game is actually a good idea. It is a compromise, as Strikers lose infinite shoulder charge, yet gain customisation within their subclass.
-
That's actually a legitimate argument. They need to implement that.
-
Because you're a potato?
but seriously because if it did they would just run insurmountable skullfort and completely mitigate the nerf. So all you would really accomplish is well nothing.
-
Because it's an ability not a melee
-
Edited by bunovasitch: 6/27/2016 2:03:44 AMBecause it provides no protection, use any gun/ability to take them out before they get to close Edit: also it would destroy the purpose for peregrine grieves

Titans don't have blink

Well... You're a potato for one...
