I play a striker and I think it needs a fix
Striker is the only class with a OHK melee...that has forward momentum, can be used as many times as you want, is a mobility tool, has extremely high aim assist and doesn't take away your regular melee
Sure it has a counter if you play with a shotgun, which will probably get you a trade
But I shouldn't have to build my weapons around an opposing subclass
A damage nerf isn't needed but a fix is needed
English

maybe have it drain your melee ability, or a 30 seconds cool down
-
I main striker, has one day on Titan.
-
He never said he mains it, he said he plays it
-
if you have literally any secondary weapon, you can shut down a SC
-
Unless of course they aren't in your line of sight and are traversing vertically and around corners. Imagine if SC was only active while actually sprinting and not jumping/skating/boosting.

Edited by gravatos: 6/25/2016 4:14:02 AMThatd be a great fix for it, jumping disables it (limited to pvp obviously otherwise the titan boots with bonus damage while airborne would be destroyed) and or make it use up your melee charge.

Edited by xDeFalt: 6/25/2016 2:51:35 AMLol wut? You have 1 day on titan and 21 on Hunter and you main striker? In fact, you also have 21 days on your warlock, and a whole 12 hours in crucible out of the 45 days of total play time has been on a titan. No,leave.
-
When did he say he mains a Titan? I could have swore I saw him say he PLAYS a titan
-
Do you know what "main" means? If you have 32 days played as a LoL character and you switch, are you still maining the first character? No Besides, if you would have done your research a little more you would have found out this is my second titan, I deleted the first one and started this one
-
Sure buddy
-
Still haven't rebutted my argument...

If you isn't have a shotgun, than there's no reason that you should be within 10 feet of an enemy. Also, you can use a radar. There's this little circle at the top left of your screen, and when you see red on a certain part of the circle, it means that there is an enemy close to you.
If you isn't have a shotgun, than there's no reason that you should be within 10 feet of an enemy.
Well, that's easily the stupidest thing I've heard today... What about using side arms, hand cannons, fusion rifles, blade dancer, fist of havoc, melee... All require close quarters combat. Not to mention the fact that most maps we are forced to play on are close quarters. They removed all the large open ones.
-
Does the radar draw up a little anus to specifically let you know a Shoulder-Charging Titan is in bound?
"Nah man, it just lights up red."
-
But I shouldn't have to build my weapons around an opposing subclass
If you aren't going to adapt, that's your fault.
-
That's what they said about everything that got nerfed before
-
I have a counter, it's called "shoot the -blam!-" works very well. Oh no shotgun needed. Primary works fine.
-
Lol you should watch intelligent striker's use shouldercharge, I guarantee you wouldn't kill them with a primary
-
Been playing the game since alpha. Never, ever had a problem dealing with a shoulder charge.
-
Been playing since Beta and I have had a problem with it since then Maybe it's because I play better players who know how to use it Yes i'm talking about SBMM and yes you are in a lower tier
-
Right. The mechanic is unavoidable and op in the hands of skilled players. Dude I played against had a higher kd than me over 3 games, I shut him down every encounter he tried to shoulder charge. Skill has nothing to do with the mechanic, the mechanic doesn't make the player.
