This bad. Seriously it's appalling if you look back at just how good these "games" looked. Rainbow Six especially, like wow this is some bullshit

3 Replies1. You can't really compare those two images beause the lighting is ENTIRELY different. 2. I have all three games that Ubisoft has been accused of "downgrading": Watch_dogs, Rainbox Six:Siege and The Division. The graphics for all three games are just FINE...and what you would expect from a AAA game being run on a current-gen console (or gaming PC). The issue here is that people look at trade show trailers...then jump to the conclusion that what is shown in a sales pitch is what the final game is going to look like. Despite the fact that you're dealing with idealized footage being run on max-spec'ed gaming PCs and 4K monitors. The ***recommended*** specs for the PC version of the Dvision that hit the shelves back in March were a jaw-busting 8 GB of RAM with a 4GB graphics card. Which would just allow you to run the program comfortably. Not max out its graphical performance. ..and even THEN that version still didn't approach the high-res video shown at E3. TLDR; if Ubisoft had tried to create a game based on the video that it showed at E3? Maybe one gamer in a THOUSAND would have a machine powerful enough to run it. If THAT many.

7 RepliesEdited by wojo55: 6/29/2016 8:15:29 PMIt's ALL studios not just ubisoft. Don't blame them blame your consoles for not having enough power. This isn't even a new thing and should be expected. Idk why people are just now noticing downgrades I'm not saying your idiots but you might be idiots : p

The destiny downgrade is a nightmare aswell! Just look how great the ghost was in te first e3 preview
-
They do that because if they didn't, consoles would be a little puddle on the floor after they melted. The only people playing games would be those that spent thousands on PC's.

Sub to crowbat for quality videos

Holy crap.

It all started with watchdogs...

2 RepliesEdited by Dogmeat: 6/24/2016 1:13:58 PMIdc about graphics. Unless it's unplayable due to graphics. Ever tried High end games on integrated graphics on a pc? God, it's unplayable. Especially the doodoo pc builds.
I have a 1,000+ USD pc build and a 3,000+ USD setup
2 RepliesEdited by Obscure Meme: 6/25/2016 8:32:57 PMRemember Watch Dogs E3? LOL
-
You really think they could've ran that kind of graphics on a console? You'd need a pretty decent PC for that too. And idk about you but it seems like that was pre-rendered.
-
1 ReplyR6 wouldve been a nightmare to play with that lighting

4 RepliesEdited by CapoBlue: 6/24/2016 4:09:24 AMOK so I have been on the developers side for a while because I always thought gamers these days just like to bitch and wine. After seeing this I can't, it makes me sick how much of a downgrade these filth did to their amazing games. Like what is the point in downgrading? Do they want to lose fans?

6 RepliesNever gonna preorder a ubisoft game anymore. Wasted so much money bevause of it

2 RepliesHear the news about the new PS4 Spiderman game? That whole trailer was running on an actually, regular run of the mill PS4. Pretty happy about that. Just hope this fate doesn't befall Watch_Dogs 2

1 ReplyGood thing i don't really play Ubisoft games anymore. Otherwise id be highly pissed off these last two years. Division still sucks though...
im tilted now
-
Edited by Juhoveli: 6/25/2016 6:49:01 PMRainbow Six is good anyways. The books, the games, well, not all the games. Godlike.
-
They do this every time now.

6 RepliesI know those downgrades are terrible. Especially Rainbow Six's The Division's and Watch Dog's
-
I still hold out hope for Assassins Creed 2017, but that's about it when it comes to ubisoft
-
2 RepliesOne of the reasons I've talked endless shit about Ubisoft for a while now. The worst part is, they've ruined all their 'good' franchises.
-
1 ReplyOh wow Ubisoft doing some shady shit, i would of never guessed
-
2 RepliesIt's not a downgrade, it's an upgrade. An upgrade for the E3 versions. See, at E3, R6S looked just like it does now. However, they beefed up the graphics, lighting, all that, to make it more cinematic for the trailer. They obviously had people playing as actors to make the encounters look more exciting than "BANG BANG BANG *dead*". Granted, there were a few gameplay downgrades in all of these, but know that the developers polish the shit out of scenes they're going to show.

2 RepliesI maintain my opinion that the Division has some killer graphics and visuals, but compared to what could have been? Yikes
Rainbow 6 is embarrassing
-
Believe it or not, the R6 E3 2014 "demo" was a CG trailer. The guns have little to no recoil, and the ammo counters don't go down multiple times after firing.

2 RepliesIf Ghost Recon Wildlands isn't even remotely good, then I'm never buying another Ubisoft game again.
