Slide, Shotgun, Shoulder Charge At the Same Time
When I used to main my Titan, I discovered the slide and Shoulder Charge combo and thought it was wildly overpowered. Recently, I discovered recently that it was possible to not only slide Shoulder Charge, but to fire your shotgun between the slide and the Shoulder Charge phases. This makes it possible to instantly kill ANY supers. Not just roaming supers, but things like Fist of Havoc and Nova Bomb as well. It does more damage than a swing from an Arc Blade. Personally, I find this game breaking, without any counters (not even supers sometimes) to cope with so much instant damage. With the recent patch, Titans have become quite possibly the strongest class, Strikers more specifically, in the game. I don't have any complaints to the structure of Strikers, but slide, shotgun, Shoulder Charge simultaneously is absurdly overpowered and needs to be addressed.

Dude. I'm a Titan and it is not op. There are many ways to get killed with shoulder charge.

Yes, as a Titan I agree it is op, but it is very hard to pull off. First off, the timing with shoulder charge, second off, having time to shotgun. All depends on the situation your in

I have never seen this in PvP and I have never even heard of someone pulling this off. Even if they could the fist of havoc would land before any of this could be pulled off. Not to mention the fact that this would require a lot of practice and even then would not be possible every time. From this logic you should just not be able to melee for 10 seconds after shooting a shotgun because that's essentially what this is asking for. Please stop trying to nerf Titans. They are balanced and easily countered by carrying a shotgun, a sniper, a fusion rifle, or a sidearm. Oh look, every secondary counters them. And so does a hand cannon throwing knife or a warlock melee.

Ik about this and i've been doing it for a while, i don't find it game breaking i just think it's a clever use of game mechanics and it doesn't always work because of timing

1 ReplyNerf everything bungie. Don't let players double jump. Sliding permitted twice a game, so you have to utilize it in the most desperate of situations. Enough of these scrubs having fun bunghole I can't take it any more!!!!

It has been in the game since launch, and CammyCakes and other YouTubers have made videos addressing it. I don't see it being used that often, and it doesn't really affect me much when it happens to me so I don't really care. But if it gets nerfed, then I'm foine with it.

6 RepliesShoulder charge needs a cool down at least. It is not fair nor right that a Titan can run kill run kill, if there is not a shot gun or fusion close there no counter.

This was in the start of the game no one has complained if ur a good player it's easy to counter. This move is also very difficult to pull of.

I did something like this the other day on my Titan. Didnt do it intentionally but I felt dirty afterwards but also badass lol.

Can you do it? Are you saying you can pull that off? If you can, that is badass, BUT, most players can't so why worry about it? If it becomes a problem and you learn to counter it then you have grown as a player and others will want to nerf you.
