Mate, they shutted down 2 community events that could be bugged and shutted them down. This is a good thing. They took a few days to release the patch addressing the issue... This is often a good thing too... They didn't told you what it was neither potential impacts it could have, which is also a good thing because it stops trolling, flame wars and potential exploits going into the wilderness.
Would it be strange to say that one would prefer to have events running in good shape than bugged, right?!

So instead they cancelled things and then remained absolutely silent so that people could discuss the issue without any facts other than, "someone had a problem, and now it's all canceled." Fixes are good, yes, but communication is king. Pushing the patch today means they knew Tuesday what the issue was. They could have easily updated everyone saying something like, "the problem has been discovered and we're pushing a patch to resolve it later this week. We'll let you know more Thursday. Stay tuned for more info about when we will active IB." Again. Communication. They also don't need to be cute with their communication. Deej posting "iron banner may return" comes off as, "if we feel like it".

Dude stop crying, fixing bugs not easy thing to do, they said they would fix and they will, if it makes you feel better they can keep telling you every day sorry still not working but they are working on the issue if that will make you stop being salty, let them do there job and they will let us know, they not gonna promise anything until they are sure, its not like they want this to happen and have people blast them and I'm sure they working hard stressing over the issue, change you tampon and wait, they got other stuff to do in the game

Funny you reference a tampon, because clearly you don't know what a period is.

I see what you did there...
Deej posting "iron banner may return" comes off as, "if we feel like it".
What was wrong with that he said? That's your negative interpretation of a neutral comment.

It's along the same lines as "Iron Banner Cancelled". If you haven't paid attention, he spends every update carefully picking his words. So when he says cancelled instead of postponed, or may return next week instead of will return once the patch has been tested, we must assume he's choosing that wording. It's poor communication and it's written in the worst possible way. Also take his news about RoI. This update his news on RoI was that they're saving it for bigger press releases, essentially making his update on RoI was that they have no update on RoI. He's basically ineffective as a community manager, and, when he is actually communicating, we words everything in the worst possible way.
they cancelled things and then remained absolutely silent
Mate sometimes you just have to do that 'leap of faith' and trust them.
