You guys are too hung up on thing that if one weapon or character is too popular then that means you need to Nerf it... That is absolutely ridiculous... Did you ever stop to think the reason more people use Hunters is because they just like to use their Hunters more? That is not a reason to try to s**t on a class... Every class has their positives and negatives and taking away the positives of one class or weapon because people like to use it is just irresponsible and laughing it off in the weekly update does not make it any better... Stop screwing around with a good thing or people are just gonna give up all together...

1 ReplyThe Hunters abilities are all offensive... They are made to hunt and kill... #smh wtf Bungie? why wouldn't most Hunters have a positive KD? Three Golden gun shots should = 3 or more kills in the right hands. Arc Blade = same thing usually more. Only thing the graph shows is the game working the way it was designed... Stop changing stuff.

Op is pissed cause everyone insisted the sunsinger was op... But it was the hunter.
-
Because K/D is related to preference.

2 RepliesThat's exactly why. They misinterpreted the information they were seeing. Whether it was deliberate or not, I can't say.
-
They didn't balance hunters because they were popular, they were hands down better than the other classes.
-
Every class has had nerfs and buffs this year. They aren't targeting one particular.

3 RepliesLast week it was too annoying. (which is rididulous since no one ever complained about tripmine or throwing knives) This week they said it is because it is the most popular subclasses. To back this up they show us a kd graph (Huh?) Bungie's logic!

2 RepliesEdited by Angelis101: 6/24/2016 12:32:07 PMHunters have dominated crucible for ages and for good reason. Their perks and abilities are just better for it. Am I saying they're the best class for everything? No. But even through year 2 with the introduction of the shade stepping / wombo combo horror that was nightstalkers was to broken. A class that can eliminate all tracking and force kill you with a ranged grenade and meelee was insane. Golden gunners single handedly forced players to run high Armor because of trip mines. And blade Dancer super made them into flying angels, plus blink and instant weapon swap or longer slide distance defined the Blink shotgun combo. This was long overdue. I just switched to hunter because it's still amazing. The crucible, outside of sun singers, is actually more diverse than ever right now.

9 RepliesWell the graph the displayed in the update mentioned the K/D for each class. The more offensive Hunter classes clearly led the pack. Thus, Bungie toned their lethality down a bit. The popularity of each class didn't matter in their decision to nerf classes.

1 ReplyI know Bungie wants their game to have all of its options viable, but I think they're pushing that. Now. It seems like they want all of Destiny's subclasses to be used evenly. And they're trying to do that through nerfs and buffs. The same can be said for the weapons. I think.

3 RepliesEdited by LatinLegacy: 6/24/2016 5:50:38 AMThere reasoning is in line with what most online RPG's, MMORPG's, hell, any game that is class based would do. It was not a " because people like hunters more " reason. Destiny is a highly competitive game & as with any game, people are going to navigate to the class &/or build that produces the best results. Which has almost always been the hunter class in terms of PvP. Even in Trials, I see more 3 player hunter squads more than anything else. If the Warlock or Titan classes had an edge, people would flock to that. In fact, Titan was the flavor of the month for a bit when TTK dropped. People are quick to forget that when it is there favorite class getting the nerf bat. One thing that I feel most people will agree on is that Hunter is by far the most used class in PvP. At least with the game I solo queue into, I often see at least 3 hunters on one side.

1 ReplyI've always said it. Whatever is popular, Bungie will intend to nerf.

4 RepliesEdited by GreenadezNham: 6/24/2016 7:49:27 AMAll I know is that I wasted a lot of time customizing and leveling up specifically because I loved tripmines. F U Bungie! My k/d has successfully been reduced to below 1.0

Hunters destroyed my warlock they complain about everything so -blam!- the hunters I don't give a shit any more about this game
-
I agree with you totally hunter pve is nightstalker/ golden gun same in pvp for me I never go bladedancer cuase I don't like it so Nerfing the class I go to the most for fun cuase I main warlock and Titan just means I'll play it even less.

BUMP. Don't try to dictate what subclass people are using. The Gunslinger is a soon to be extinct race because every single perk is now GARBAGE. Thanks for that. Now all we will have is a bunch of people running around invisible with snipers (which have not been touched by the way). Yay yippee hooray!!!

45 RepliesEdited by bobswerski: 6/23/2016 9:48:44 PMOr maybe it's because Hunters are the only class that averaged a K/D above 1.05. Just a thought. #knowingishalfthebattle
