So you want one unimpeachable supreme leader (lil kim *cough cough*) and are focused on government when we've got alien hordes more advanced than us wanting to kick our asses?

You would think that several hundred years into the future and after an all powerful sentient being giving us super advanced powers and then several other alien races almost wiping out the human race totally we would know better than to think there is a god and to know better than to trust in religion. All three are dumb on their own. Future war cult wants to fight no matter what. Which is fine except what happens after war? Plans for after are needed. New Monarchy, we do need order within our own, but considering how everyone is trying to kill us right now, the timing is shit. Dead Orbit, while its great to plan in case of failure of current plans. Embracing failure and defeat, while assuming you will thrive is pointless too. So you prepare for when we lose but don't want to assist in preventing it? What we fight What we fight for And the fight that never ends The factions, more or less.

Let's face it. What the factions stand for has zero effect on the game. There is no faction wars, no treatment given for allegiances etc. I play one character at all times with each to ensure I get those drops. I have 6 of 9 class exotics. Maybe if factions meant something, so would their stance on anything

5 RepliesNo no no. The New Monarchy doesn't want an unimpeachable leader, they want a leader of unimpeachable character. They want a leader (who is elected) that will focus on the care and survival of their subjects. Their ideology is focused on their survival without fleeing. But if they need to kill other humans, so be it, they survive. They have a more "faction" mindset, rather than Dead Orbit who wants everyone to flee, or FWC who just wants to understand, then kill everything, but not always in that order.
