In the simplest possible way, these are the nerf/buff statistics of every class throughout Destiny. Information provided here. This includes every tradeoff, considered as a buff/a nerf.

18 RepliesThis is sad because I was watching Luminosity's stream last night and as soon as he started gaining viewers around the 600 mark, Triplewreck entered the chat and started complaining about the arc warlock melee the entire time. As soon as he started complaining everybody started agreeing with him. Although hunters have two melee projectiles, for some reason he felt that an extended warlock melee was so broken. This is how nerfs are born: popular streamers that use their status amongst the community to bolster their biased opinions. He's obviously biased because I know for a fact he mains hunter. I wasn't listening to Luminosity but I'm pretty sure he was feeding into it too. They both play hunter lmfao. I wanted to say something but I knew it would be pointless; why would anybody listen to someone who doesn't stream and have a cult-following on Twitch? I wouldn't listen to me either, tbh, lol. It's so pathetic how much of an influence streamers have on Destiny's balancing, regardless of their talent or playtime with an actual class. I'm pretty sure Sc_Slayerage fueled the rage behind firebolts too, hence why they became a huge nerf target around Crimson Doubles. I still remember those streams of his...sh*t was literally cancer.

As a taken tot hunter main, despite all the nerfs that the classes recieved, sunbreakers got hit the hardest. A class which relied heavily on its super got it torn to bits. An apology to all the hammer Bros out there.
But they are back somewhat now so woohoo.
-
9 RepliesI play all three so my class got nerfed the most.
-
So what your saying is hunters have been nerfed the most?
-
Edited by LogicUnbound: 6/25/2016 6:57:16 PMThis is pretty cool, but not all nerfs have the same value. So this doesn't completely represent how much each class was nerfed/buffed. A good start though.
-
2 RepliesYou're using logic and numbers to argue with people who cry over a video game changing slightly.
-
2 RepliesI don't understand the point of this post.
-
9 RepliesEdited by OutPrincess196: 6/23/2016 1:50:39 AMTo all all you warlocks out there this is proof that hunters suffered way more than you so quit complaining take it like a hunter and grow up
-
All this shows is that anyone that played a titan since release put up with having to use the weakest pvp subclasses in the game. I feel like you're trying to insinuate that the hunter nerfs were not warranted and the class was picked on for no reason. We all know that's not true.
-
7 RepliesBlade dancer is probably the worst subclass out there now.
-
7 RepliesLol at Titans. Gonna copy paste. 10/10
-
1 ReplyI'm a Warlock main and will say Titans were originally ass in PvP. Hunters were also stronger. Warlocks were a touch above, but nothing ridiculous (besides the burning firebolts).
-
2 RepliesThe sunsinger need armor. It already has a crap ability. The grenades don't do anything and I get meleed out my super. It's the most boring class to use now because you can't kill anything with your super. Only thing is quick res and that's horrible too
-
4 RepliesThat's not what people mean by "most" and you know this. This is a completely pointless thread.
-
14 RepliesIt's funny. I keep trying to tell people about when blade dancer got destroyed really early on but no one believes me. I thank you for this justice you have done for me
-
Whiners just complain, like the Geico commercial, it's what they do!
-
The title of the patch was "the one about hunters" so there's that
-
1 Reply8 notice a lot of people mentioning severity. I'd like to see a chart with all the classes lined up with all the percent increases and decreases to each of their equivalent abilities. Of coarse, I don't think that'll happen because no one cares that much. Very neat information, thanks
-
Ever think that the reason hunters have been nerfed most is that they were by far the strongest? Am I the only one that remembers the total dominance of yr 1 blade dancer?
-
1 ReplyI like how many people are trying to defend the changes or say "well that doesn't really count because..." listen. OP isn't trying to say the hunter nerfs were worse objectively. Or that one of the classes are favored. Merely just pointing out from a numbers perspective hunters have been nerfed the most. and that's a fact. You can argue which nerfs were less or more severe or which changes needed to happen. Because that's open to opinion. The former is not.
-
5 RepliesEveryone whose average KD is below 1 is ALWAYS gonna complain that their class is the worst.

2 RepliesWhat about the stealth nerfs to blade in 2.0? Hit detection, lunge distance, & tracking were all reduced. Wouldn't that make for 33 nerfs? & arcbolt got a stealth buff in 2.1 I believe.
-
1 ReplyI think your counts are off, a chart may be easier to read. But off a quick count, Hunter nerfs- I got 25 and Titan buffs- I got 17. Thanks for the info tho, I'm curious to see the math on some of the nerf/buffs to the same perks, see what the net changes are.
-
1 ReplyThis is a bit simplistic though, as straight counts don't take into consideration the significance of each rebalance, the subjective nature of some of them (some players see the Viking Funeral change as a buff, others see it as a nerf), or the fact that each will vary by player anyway (eg. I hardly play gunslinger, and hardly use tripmines when I do, so I don't care about the change; someone who liked to stick tripmines might be badly affected; while someone who's always been good at using tripmines as traps might be perfectly happy). Not trying to bash your work, just saying there's more to it than the number of changes.
-
9 RepliesThis is probably the most pointless post I've ever read.. You can't just count them and say that hunters are worse off, because that doesn't account for the severity of each change. That's like counting money by counting the # of coins rather than the value of the coins.
