Is there a way to farm for the Imago Loop?
Does anyone know the best way to farm for the Imago Loop? I've tried doing the heroic strike playlist and it just seems way too time consuming to have to back out when it is not on the Undying Mind strike. Can you receive it through farming that particular strike and not the playlist? I'd really like to get that gun and if i get the one without the fatebringer god roll thats ok if i know how to get another and another and another by farming.

2 RepliesI got mine with outlaw, hammer forged, and firefly basicly a fatebringer but little bit more beter due the range.. Just wait for the NF and farm it

I would just wait for a Vex Nightfall. The drop is low otherwise. You'll likely be putting in a ton of effort before you get one and there is no guarantee it'll be any good. It seems to mostly drop with bland rolls. It'll drop a lot during Nightfall. You can likely get a few of them then.

Oddly enough after farming for God we went and did some strikes and it dropped for me finally.

Wait until it's the nightfall. Other wise do heroics and use boosters.

I got mine from the level 40 (i think its 40; i know its higher than the normal but not as high as the heroic) story mission as part of the Touch of Malice quest line, which I've never actually finished. This version doesn't have matchmaking for some bizarre reason, so you'd either want to solo it, or get a fireteam of like minded farmers. Plus, it's the Taken version every time, so you don't have the staircase of near infinite yellow bar Vex to deal with.
