It's not over powered, just used alot. It will die down once iron banner hits.

9 RepliesMost people will say no and that's fine, I honestly just can't stand that archetype. It seems this game caters to fast firing weapons. Bring back the 2 shot red death and it would be more interesting.

I voted NO. I do have one. Not the best rolls on it but they are good enough. I like the higher rate of fire pulses. To me it's just another good gun. Mine is on my Warlock if you'd like to check it out.

People are going to use the best guns in the game. I'm not a pvp god so I need to use decent guns to try to keep up. When the "meta" changes I shift my go to primaries. I used to use shadow price and suros regime. I was the guy using last word and thorn. I used red death. Now I'm using grasp, suros, and hawksaw. It doesnt matter what they nerf. There will always be something that stands out and gets used more so by the community. I do say that Boolean Gemini is a beast that I don't see talked about much. I wreck with that gun.

Oh and the over use arguments. Well those of us who have played more than two weeks remember last year before we had every damn weapon in the game. Xur would come along and sell something. Often for the first time. The crucible would never be the same.........for about two weeks. Red death was sold and that thing overran the crucible. Then he sold last word and you would have thought you fell head long into the OK coral for a couple weeks. Then believe it or not it fades. No weapon works for everyone. If the weapon isn't just a must have in terms of kills it just fades and even weapons that are OP don't dominate for long periods as many can't make them work for their play style.

2 RepliesIt's all over crucible because it's everybody's "new toy." It's one of my favorite weapons, but the hawksaw/PDX can compete. We'll all probably see mostly Mida and party crasher next week for IB anyway.

1 ReplyIt has the highest potential TTK for pulses, but, it's actually reaching that potential that I find silly. I know there's players that can do it, but, with all the overhype this gun is getting and all the poor rolls people will be using, I think it's more of a benefit to us really. I've used it myself, I don't really like it, thought I would due to loving the pdx so much, but, I couldn't get a [b]grasp[/b] on it. [spoiler]kill me please.[/spoiler]

4 RepliesPersonally I don't think it should have the ability to 3 burst kill.. it is a little too strong And has way too much range.. But people get super defensive when you bring their crutches into the spotlight.. So prepare for hate from all the people who want destiny to have CoD instant kill time

5 RepliesInstead of people wanting a nerf how about buffing other pulses, hawksaw, nirwens, villainy, pdx 45, Aegis, and all, this will increase variety in gameplay styles and eliminate a lot of negativity.

There are no overpowered pulse rifles. Just the idea makes me laugh. There are some [i]decent[/i] pulses, but overpowered? Nah.
