I thought bloodborne was a rip off of dark souls. Are they in the same series?

2 RepliesHow is it a rip off of dark souls? Same game creator. Unless you mean he stole his own ideas? It's included into the series due to the games having the same fundamental formula. But Bloodborne does not fit into the lore of DS.

Yes, Bloodborne is absolutely part of the Dark Souls series. Having been a long time fan of the series, I can honestly say that they're all great yet different, although I'd place Bloodborne in the number one spot as far as being the best all-around. That cosmic horror Lovecraft thing is to die for.
