Best first instinctive perk for the grasp of Malok?
There are 11 total perk options for the first instinctive perk option for the Grasp of Malok but I picked 7 of them that I believe are the best of the 11 but feel free to disagree with me. You may check for yourself online at the armory on Bungie.net but all 11 perks are listed below for your own convenience.
1.) Partial Refund
2.) Eye of the storm
3.) Life Support
4.) Danger Close
5.) Surrounded
6.) Exhumed
7.) Secret round
8.) Rangefinder
9.) Headseeker
10.) Counterbalance
11.) Outlaw

If you get braced frame/handlaid, you would have no need for counterbalance since the recoil is so little anyway. If you get Perfect Balance however, Counterbalance would be a more viable perk. Headseeker, Counterbalance and Life Support for first perk. Life support procs often and is an underrated perk. Braced Frame, or Perfect Balance if CB was your first perk. Glass Half Full or Feeding Frenzy for last. I would prefer Feeding frenzy, the fast reload is just amazing. Also IMO if you go with Headseeker, it isn't exactly viable without glass half full and vice versa. Both of them together makes the grasp do the same damage as a hawksaw and with a way faster fire rate. But with Braced Frame/ Hand Laid I would still prefer Headseeker/Life Support since Counterbalance isnt really needed.

Farmed for, and got a few good grasps before the NF farm and never once heard about Counterbalance as a necessity much less the most sought after perk. My perfect roll would be: Red dot OES Headseeker Braced frame Glass half full IMO.

Edited by TrulyDontCare: 6/20/2016 7:51:50 PMPerfect Balance works very well on it. That's what mine has and the grouping is very tight. Edit: I know that's not first column, but it's worth saying. If you can get that paired with other good perks, you'll be in damn good shape.

I can kinda see why someone would want headseeker over counterbalance, people are often suckers for more damage, even if it's pretty negligible. why anyone would want anything else there is beyond me though. best one I pulled was counterbalance, smallbore, feeding frenzy. I very much like it very much.
