I thought the darkblade alak-hul was in Erid Morns fireteam that went to kill crota... Plus he attempted to kill our sworn enemy, Oryx. And hes stuck in a HIVE prison. Who is also our enemy. So why do we fight him? (Typed this on my phone)
Disclaimer: ive only read a couple of grimore cards about this so i dont know this subject to its entirety

14 RepliesJust a question. Some of you are saying he was going to attempt to kill oryx... How the hell is Alak-hul supposed to kill oryx if he's like 1000 times bigger than him?
-
12 RepliesI mean it's so dark in that room that maybe it's all a big misunderstanding. He's only swinging at us because he can't see shit and he's like "who the -blam!- just jumped into my apartment and started -blam!-ing shit up rawwwrrr"

I laughed about Alak Hul being in Eris Fireteam. That would have looked absolutely awesome, one huge Hive knight in a fireteam shouting about.
-
Edited by Demolition: 6/27/2016 5:54:06 PMNo he was just there he killed vell tarlowe kinda Also he was trying to become king and rule for himself so.....yea he isn't in any way good
-
The hive are basically made up of sith lords.
-
Alak-Hul was a hive knight , who wanted a little more power than Oryx liked , but he still wants to eat the traveler and us and consume our light Alak-Hul was a defender of Crota, Verok, the wizard from the first moon mission("We've woken the hive" mission) was his mate, and together they killed several members of Eris Morns fireteam. If Alak Hul had defeated Oryx , we would still have to fight him
-
1 ReplyAlak hul is perhaps a better guy than Oryx. But he isn't too good of a guy. Also, Oryx began as a good guy (girl,) before becoming the taken king, which turned shim into a dick.
-
A) Alak-Hul and Verok, his mate (m8), led a legion of thralls to battle. Vell Tarlowe of Eris's failed Fireteam and only Titan, fell to the large amount of thralls that Verok spawned. B) The Darkblade saw an opportunity to take the Taken Throne, so he (again) used Verok's thralls to try and attack Oryx. Obviously he failed. He was then thrown into a Hive cell, to be turned into Chiten for Oryx's ship. C) Once we kill Oryx (during Regicide) The Darkblade sees yet another window for power. Good thing we went in and killed him before he slipped past the Wardens and got out to rule the Hive...
My memory may deceive me, so take this with a grain of salt
-
Because he's -blam!- us right after
-
2 RepliesIf we didn't kill him, we would have another Taken King, like we nearly did with Malok.
If only we heeded Toland's advice and took the crown ourselves.
-
4 RepliesNo, he was there when Eris' team attacked Crota. As in, he was visiting Crota when Eris attacked.
-
14 RepliesHe is Orxy's Starscream.
-
3 RepliesHe attacked eris' fireteam dude come on😅 you find that out by playing the strike?
-
No, the reason Alak-Hul was watching down on Crota and Eris Probably was to see if they would die, meaning nobody would be able to face Alak-Hul, and he could have an open shot at killing Oryx, or he just wanted to kill them, but he could not because Crota would have probably murdered him. And you don't pack a 25 ton animal in your Fireteam that has a rage mode and a giant sledgehammer. The reason why we killed him was because he wanted to become prince or king after Oryx.
-
Well I mean the only reason he's swinging at us is because his cell is so dark and keeps asking "who do fudge is here!??! HELP MEEEE!!! OW! NOOOO!!! WHO'S SHOOTING ME!?!?! STAP IT! NOOOOO!!!"

Edited by Shunnedscrub: 6/23/2016 7:06:48 AMIts like the cabal, also the enemy of your enemy and that my friend does bot always make them your friend And no he wasnt it the fire team oryx locked him up in the dreadnaught after the attempted murder so he was nowhere close
-
If only vell knew that jumping onto a lamp was alak-huls one weakness!
-
Edited by Swiftlock: 6/23/2016 4:11:53 AMSo instead of Oryx, the throne would be occupied by some guy with the capability of killing Oryx if Alak-hul got his way. Yeah, no. He had to die.
-
He only rebelled so he can take the thrown
-
In Eris' fireteam? 😂 Boy, are you slow
-
7 RepliesEdited by Ghost of Raps: 6/19/2016 10:32:12 PMAlak-hul was not in Eris morn's fireteam, the first Crotas End fireteam consisted of Eris Morn Eriana-3 Toland, the shattered Sai mota Omar agah Vell tarlowe It is believed that the Darkblade slew Vell tarlowe from the Titan helmet: Darkblade's helm yet there is contradicting evidence from the armory item Titan mark, Mark of the Duskborn which says,"we called her Verok it was her and her thrall that finally overwhelmed him" people think him could reference Vell tarlowe yet it could reference any other him.
-
4 RepliesHe wasn't IN Eris Morn's fireteam...
-
He wanted to control the hive since Oryx was gone. We couldn't let him do that.
