It wasn't until just now that the slogan even made sense. How do you become a legend in a world full of NPC's? I realized as I was going back through my nostalgic Destiny memories that this is what the game was always meant to be. Some of us have been here since the REAL beginning. Remember your first time experiencing the Vault of Glass? Remember being blown away that a any of that was even possible in a game? Remember the first time you saw the Gjallarhorn or your first Fatebringer drop? Does anybody remember scouring all the planets to find every single hidden ghost fragment? Farming endlessly for the drops and reputation you wanted most? These were the times that you won't forget. We've watched as the game itself and even the community has slowly morphed into something it didn't used to be. One by one, our closest Guardian friends have slowly drifted away. Those of you that are still here are the real legends. You and your stories. If you've been here since the beginning, sign and leave a quick memory for some of us nostalgic Destiny players :)

4 RepliesThis is a little later in Year One, but I'll never forget going on patrol and killing the pack of wolves to get the Ether Key. Remember when everyone would race all around the patrol area to find the chest? I remember when someone would wave to signal that they found the chest, and then everyone would go to them to get it. And of course, I can never forget my first Gjallarhorn from the Exotic Chest in VoG... Good times.
