Isn't it clear that we do not want Clash for Iron Banner?
The first time they made iron banner clash, almost everyone preferred control. But they just keep making it clash. Why?
Edit: God dammit every time I make one of these spur-of-the moment micro-rant posts they always blow up. Oh well. I don't care enough to do something about it. It's not like I'm gonna be playing IB anyway.

I think the main problem is when they've done control, from some of the posts I've seen, players treat it like clash anyway but I prefer control myself but I need to grind the clash play list anyway

I love clash IB. Like, truly love it. My favorite time in Destiny. I hope after reading the comments you'll see that it's clear that plenty of people want clash.

Clash'll be faster i think, and since i only play Iron Banner for drops (straight mediocre at PvP) then the faster the better. Anything to help speed up the process and get me a Hebridean Thoughtcrime. That thing is my white whale.

I like the variety. Control is really fun, but only good if I have friends on, because random groups seem to think it's clash anyway. No one plays the objective. Clash is better for the solo players.

3 RepliesEvery control iron banner: Full games where people only care about capturing the first zone then go fluttering off about the map playing clash and wondering why they lose by 7k+ points. Looking at you, Pantheon sniper lane idiots. Stop being mlg and capture B for once in your lives. Plus there's the added bonus of games getting called pretty much the moment you touch the ground (Shores and Delphi Base mostly) where unless you spawn flip within two minutes you're done. Every clash iron banner: people play clash. Much more solo friendly as well. The matches are typically less landslidey as well as there aren't really map advantages in clash. If the average player wasn't a moron and understood how control worked control would actually be fun. Until then clash just cuts out the middleman.

4 RepliesI prefer control in Iron Banner but tbh, a hell of a lot of people don't play the objective anyway and just go on killing sprees so it might as well just be clash. I'd rather it not be clash but that's what it usually turns out to be anyway no matter what the game mode is. Which is sad in my opinion.

I would rather it be clash then control. Fighting over b flag for a week gets old. Plus control just isn't as fun.

Clash is clearly better. Nobody plays the objective anyways, so may as well make it Clash.
