Shoulder Charge Lore Theory

20 RepliesWell, considering Blink rips a hole in space, essentially breaking the speed of light by creating a temporary wormhole, and Shoulder Charge breaks the sound barrier, which is merely 777 MpH, or roughly 1/900,000 of the speed of light... C'mon... Titan armor is not 900,000 times heavier than the other classes.

5 Replies*ahem* [i]The fireteam is cornered. An Archon towered over them. Dregs and Vandals growled behind their priest. The Fallen had their weapons pointed at the fireteam. A "Cohk ohn buuh!" The Archon roared. The only chance the fireteam had were the cliffs behind the Fallen. They couldn't fly over or jump over their enemies--they'd be torn apart in seconds. "Psst, I say we blink over these four armed morons." Kayl, the Awoken warlock of the fireteam, whispered to the other two. "But, Krelis can't blink. She's a Titan." Corrabella, their human Hunter, whispered back. "I'm sure she can try." "Are you crazy?" "I think I'll give it a go." Krelis-19, their Exo Titan, told them. "Alright, but if you get chopped up and your Ghost gets smashed, I'm taking Kayl's handcannon and throwing it into the Hellmouth." "Mean." Kayl said. Kayl and Corrabella ran towards the Fallen and blinked over them. Both of them had landed perfectly onto the top of the cliff. Krelis-19 stood down in front of the Fallen. "Krelis, what're you doing?!" Kayl yelled out. "I'm scared!" Krelis yelled back. "Of what? The Fallen or messing up?" Corrabella asked. "Both!" "Come'on! You had a fist fight with a giant, six armed mutant Wizard!" Corrabella yelled back. "And you punched the head right off of a Gatelord once!" Kayl added. Rocks tumbled down. Vandals and Dreg's started climbing up the cliff, chattering and snarling. "Oh no, they're climbing!" Corrabella pointed her shotgun at a Dreg and shot it off. "Krelis!" Krelis-19 ran toward the archon. The archon laughed. "Can she do it?" Kayl asked. "I hope." Krelis roared and jumped. She tried to blink, but instead, bolted into the air. She had knocked the archon into the cliffs and took out several fallen. "What the hell?" Kayl asked. The cliffside crumbled and fell onto the archon. He had gotten buried under boulders and rubble. "Hm, think we can fight them?" Corrabella asked. "With whatever Krelis did, we might." Kayl replied. Corrabella looked over the cliff. "Hey! Krelis!" She called out. "What is it?" Krelis asked as she beat down a Vandal. "Can you try 'blinking' again?" "That was too scary..." Krelis said as she shot several rounds into a Dreg. A group of Vandals marched towards Krelis. "Try it on them!" "O-okay..." Krelis ran towards the Vandals and launched herself forward into them. Their body's got flung into the air. "Holy crap, we may actually make this!" Kayl cried out. - On that day Kayl, Corrabella, and Krelis-19 slaughtered the Fallen that attacked them. And, Krelis-19 learned something new. "You're going to have to show the other Titans your version of blink." Kayl told Krelis-19. "I prefer to call it... Shoulder Charge."[/i]

Not only did I look like a fool, but I also kinda activated shoulder charge, sending her into oblivion. The Vanguard tells me this is why I will always be single.

They look at each other searching for words. Then... they smile.* W1: Actually, Ms. Rey. THIS is what we were testing... We thought the best way to show off how well it works was through a... I always assumed they first discovered it when people took forever at the checkout in grocery stores.

Actually I think it would be cool if the hunters found some old relics from before the collapse and the warlocks studied them. Turns out they were old dvds of NFL superstars. And titans loved the idea of lowering the shoulder on your opponent.
