this triggered me. it's story time with Assy. Me and my friend are in a team. [i][b]note[/b][/i]: I'm a lesbian. Critical for the story. Team of two. We are representing Manitoba in a national competition for 2D animation. We have to go up against all of the provinces in this competition. We get there and everyone either looks hardcore or nerdy. You could easily tell who the talented ones were and who weren't. Of course, we got put with the corner computers. The way I was facing was towards everyone. I could see [i]everyone.[/i] It was a bit intimidating considering they all looked older. We were the youngest competitors there. Everyone was grade 10+. We were in grade 9. So I'm scanning the room.. slightly terrified. And there sitting.. right across from our table was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. I don't know what it was.. she was just so appealing to the eye. Her legs were so.. nice. Nice shape. And her face, I could only see the side of it but you could tell it was a good face. Even if her hair was covering a bit of it. [i][b]Her hair.[/b][/i] Was blonde. And it was wavy. It swept to the side and [i]almost[/i] covered her right eye. It was so beautiful.. I couldn't describe it and I didn't know her name. So I gave her a name. Ramen Noodles. I stared at her for a very long time I'm surprised she never noticed. I even sang. Very very loudly in hopes that she would hear me. I sang, "I Believe in Miracles," and that one song from Aladdin, "I could show you the world" or some shit like that. So imagine this short kid in the corner of the room, really big sweater, pathetic looking, 5'6, arms in the air, singing with passion, "[i][b]I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES, SO WHERE YOU FROM? YOU SEXY THING. HOW DID YOU KNOW... THAT I NEEDED YOU SO BADLY? HOW DID YOU KNOW... THAT I'D GIVE MY HEART GLADLY. YES BABY, I WAS ONE OF THE LONELY PEOPLE. BUT NOW YOURE LAYING NEXT TO ME, MAKING LOVE TO ME. I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES.[/b][/i] She was perfect. I didn't even need to see the other half of her to know this. Even though I sang my heart out to her, she still didn't look at me. I wasted the whole day gazing upon her beautiful face... she was hard at work with her animation, I had completely forgotten about mine. It was time to go. Day 1 of the competition had come to an end. No progress made by me. But I got to stare at my beloved Ramen Noodles. She stood up, and she turned to me. I saw her face. So did my teammate. Oh sweet Jesus. Her jaw dropped. My jaw dropped. It's like everything went into slow motion. My friend is dying of laughter. Desk palming. I am falling apart. With these mixed emotions. [i][b]Devastated.[/b][/i] [i][b]Betrayed.[/b][/i] [i][b]Disappointment.[/b][/i] [i][b]Shock.[/b][/i] My head hit the table as I wept. [spoiler][i]She. Was a[/i] [i][b]He.[/b][/i][/spoiler] Honestly the most disappointing thing that's happened to me. On top of that, they beat me in the competition. Anyways. I was triggered lol

I come back to this thread and all I can think is how sad it is that the vast majority of you seem to have never had actual ramen.
