A sniper rifle wouldn't have a bright ass light on it broadcasting your position to everyone on the battlefield either, funny how things in video games don't work how they would irl huh?

This isn't real life. It's a video game. And besides red light or not if they are a good enough shot your dead anyway.

Despite snipers having lens flare and crazy muzzle flash irl
Despite snipers having lens flare and crazy muzzle flash irl
That's a lie!!! *laughs quietly*
-
Even funnier all the replies to this comment... Most of the people are in the wrong forum... Wouldn't be surprised if they're talking bout a completely different game
-
You know what... Let's nerf fusion rifles again, cause they need it right?
-
Yes they do, dirty fusion rifles.
-
-blam!- fusion rifles
-
Technically irl snipe rifles scopes do have a glare. They reflect the sun and can easily be seen. Snipers compensate for that by putting mosquito netting over the scope. Which would be a worthwhile exotic perk.
-
Nah. If that weapon was introduced in game the person using it would get reported too many times
-
So no different than now? Lmao.
-
Eh. Pretty much, sadly

Best counter argument I've seen yet.
-
I agree w the sniper rifle glare, they should do away w that. The trip mine nerf? Nawwwww, that was unwanted and no one complained.
-
We need lens flare. If it was removed they'd need to add breathing mechanics to sniper scope to compensate for how OP it will make snipers when you can't see where they are
-
Works for me. Make "Unflinching" a primary-only perk, too.
-
Emphatically this.

THHHHIIIISSSS!!!!!!!!'
-
It's supposed to be lens shine
-
What about No Land Beyond? Thing has matte-finish iron sights and it still glows in the dark.
-
Well why would they change something that has been in the game for two years? It's been okay for that long without it being a problem so why now?
-
You mean like everything else that got changed?
-
They just did it with the Tripmine, but I guess it's not as an extreme scale as actual mechanics
-
How about because it's their game and they can do what they want? Yeah that sounds about right.
