Stop crying... you had a grenade what was both a sticky and a trap. Bungie made it fair. If you want a sticky grenade use your damn Flux grenade. No grenade should be that versatile and powerful. You never heard Titan's complain their Lightning Grenade never stuck on. Bungie did right on this one.

That's because Lightning grenades did about 3/4 of your health on hit, and they pulsated.

Edited by badhorse2000: 6/17/2016 1:48:08 PMI think Bungie should reduce the damage per tick of the lightening grenades so even if I stand next to it the whole time I'll still have a sliver of health left in the end. Oh, and take away the initial "explosion" as well because we wouldn't want a grenade with two purposes in this game.
-
Wow... funny. Hehe.

my my my my my my my my my my my my my my titan could not do dat so bungie had to fix it so de onwy sticky gwenade huters had in an underpowered stick dat do no damage 2 level 2 dwedge.
read dis if you wer hyper ventwating as the op does when walking upstaiws.
You just made yourself look retarded. Congratulations.
-
I need to drop myself to his level to get the message across.
-
Dude be honest if they didn't change this grenade during the patch would you even be complaining about it?
-
I've been complaining about the absurd versatility of tripmines for over a year.
-
Trip mines also got a damage reduction though so -,-
-
Titans didn't complain because it's a pulse type grenade with multiple blasts and outstanding reach. It's not op. Trip mine was single blast, wouldn't kill a high armor class or build, and had a delay that gave players opportunity to run past it. The fact that it stuck was the only sure fired way to get a ohk. Take away sticky, fine. Then boost the damage by giving it a burn. Put it on par with lightning grenade. Just saying. 188 damage once or a lightning grenade with 122 damage 3 to five times from the pulse.

1.) They were like that for almost 2 years. 2.) If they weren't meant to stick to someone, then why is there a damage increase when stuck on someone?
-
Because all grenades that can stick get bonus damage. Just because they're supposed to be traps doesn't mean they couldn't have still allowed them the bonus damage originally.
-
But for almost 2 years?
-
-
Don't buy it. The only reason this has gone for so long is because it was intentional. They have nerfed grenades before, no reason not to implement this earlier unless it was intentional
-
Believe what you want
-
-
Have you used the Flux grenade? If you did you'd know it was definitely not an option. At all, ever, why put yourself through it.
-
It's the only grenade I use as a blade dancer and it consistently gets the job done so...
-
Well that's great.
-
If lightning grenades stuck, they wouldn't kill the person they stuck to.
-
It would look super awesome if you got it attached to your head. They should implement this in the game.
-
It would definitely cause confusion.
-
Then why do I get a medal for sticking someone?
-
You get a medal with any grenade that could stick, i.e. Flux, magnet, fusion grenades get the same medal. They removed the person to person stickiness to make it conform to the other grenades in its class i.e. Spike and lightning. (Not arguing just clarifying I neither agree with the nerf nor disagree so...)
