Which PVP meta/era you prefer?
-Hello Guardians and Bungie
Choose the era that you prefer, then base on that era that has the most votes(winner), and all bungie has to do is fix the problems that affected that metta/era of the game so everyone can be happy and we can all stop the balancing problems in this game.
edit: The point of this poll is to see which PVP era of destiny the comunity wants/voted for , so bungie can see and use that metta(the one with the most votes) as a base to (re)balance the game and eliminate/fix the problems that caused the end of that metta/change of metta.
example vanilla:tone down the handcannon range, buff shotguns just a Little, cut down the fusión rifle range, Buff Pulse rifles, etc...

2 RepliesI think vanilla destiny with slight changes eg: hand cannon buff very slight shotgun buff sniper buff slight pulse rifle buff fusion rifle nerf that would make it fun still keep all the perks weapons and armor of now tho and make subclasses a bit more balanced and all a bit more powerful

Bungie needs to listen to these people, so many competitive players who were really helping this game have been pushed away by this and sbmm. Remove it now bungie. A quick comment poll: what type of people would you rather bungie listen to, people such as sir d and tipple wreck or Datto and blush?

new meta is now the grasp/hawksaw weapons. mida, doc, and TLW are usable but overall the high RoF pulse rifles are gonna be the go to IMO

9 RepliesVanilla and House of Wolves are 1 and 2. Wtff? Every weapon is viable right now, you actually have a chance to react before dying, Blink Shotgunners are not rampant, and The Last Word isn't cross mapping you with a precision shot. The game has progressed for the better.

Suros was like a 4 shot kill on an AR and only weapon you needed, we had unlimited (pretty much) special ammo so people mained a sniper all game, heavy dropped twice a game and if you weren't ON the box you missed out when douche bag pulled it. Fusions were OP and would melt you from range of a sniper, HC's could cross map shoot you...literally. Grenades and Horseshoes would kill you if you were 100 meters away from the rocket. The list goes on...how quickly people forget. I think most picked Vanilla because they were playing CoD and just wanted to experience it.

There are more crucible modes, more guns, and more perks than anything in year 1. Not to mention supers are 10x more powerful than they've ever been, but no people want to go back to the days of having no possible way to counter Suros or Vex. People want to go back to Thorn killing with no skill and The Last Word killing faster than the average human reaction speed time. Year one was extremely fun because it was all new and everything was shrouded in mystery. It was a new style of gameplay and people didn't really know what was op and what wasn't as much. Not to mention it was extremely hard to obtain anything that was decent. If everyone that plays destiny now had the year 1 vanilla meta while knowing about the weapons like they know now, crucible would be utter chaos and there would be 0 possibilities of countering other players. It wouldn't be fun at all.

3 RepliesCurrent Meta is the most balanced. Those saying Vanilla probably loved auto-rifles. Those saying HoW are probably fans of Thorn/TLW or hand cannons in general. The problem was that scout rifles were nearly useless in PvP until Y2 since you could practically use hand cannons as a sniper, and after the initial auto-rifle nerf they were equally as useless due to the power, range, and accuracy of hand cannons. Only a handful of pulse rifles such as the Hopscotch Pilgrim or Messenger could consistently compete against Thorn or TLW. In the current meta you can viable options in any primary type, and have to think a little more about which map you're playing on and adjust somewhat to what your opponents are using. A few guns like DoP or TLW are still the most versatile, but it's harder to find a one-size-fits-all primary weapon anymore.

I am a DB player and I have never really enjoyed PvP. I only do it to get the weekly rewards then leave. I have been gaming since Sega Genesis and I'm a player skill kind of guy and PvP has never been anything worth my time. Weapons with 90+ aa and spamer weapons just are no fun. Kids with these weapons run ramped and cry about this an that. Imagine playing with less then 50% aa and having to use real skill. Man that sounds fun. Be glade the they don't pay any mind to true gamers with real life skills. These updates are just making you have to pick how to use your thumbs and think when is it best to us my ability. I love reading the cry babies rants.

1 ReplyWho voted HoW? crucible was just thorn / tlw and long range shotguns... -blam!-ing joke. Best was just before TTK (the crucible update 2 weeks before TTK launched), then they ruined it with op sunbreaker. And ruined it further with the next update. At least there's diversity now, although sbmm kinda puts a downer on things.
