The guy that caused the orlando shooting wouldnt have killed anyone. Instead, he wouldve went to lowes and bought enough chemicals to kill EVERYONE.

Then he would of used a handgun instead.

3 RepliesHe didn't use an "assault" weapon. He used either a AR-15 or a Sig Sauer MCX. Both are NOT assault weapons. An assault weapon used by infantry has one defining feature: the ability for fully automatic and burst fire. The "A" in "AR-15" does not stand for "assault". It stands for "Armalite". It is gas powered and can ONLY FIRE IN A SEMI AUTOMATIC FASHION, MEANING THAT YOU FIRE ONE BULLET PER PRESS OF THE TRIGGER. "Assault" weapons are not currently available to the general public as I know. An AR-15 only looks like an assault weapon because it is based off the design of an assault weapon, because the design is exceptional in ergonomics and functionality.

2 RepliesAssault weapons should be banned

The UK doesn't have terrorist attacks because guns are the only sure fire way of making it work. But if you give a psycho a gun look what happens.

6 RepliesEdited by Soviet soldier: 6/17/2016 11:03:50 AM"An assault rifle is a selective-fire rifle that uses an intermediate cartridge and a detachable magazine" -wikipedia So why should we ban them? Not all assault rifles are fully-automatic. (if that is why you think They should be banned)
-
7 RepliesYes because mass killing chemical weapons can be found in your everyday Lowe's. Silly me

3 RepliesWhat's an "assault rifle"?
-
9 RepliesSorry but buying a ready to use AR 15 is easier to use, prep and hide. Buying the crap to make an explosive takes more work and expertise. That's why you see most of the home grown terrorism events using guns. The idea is to make it harder for this to happen

1 ReplyYe, what is he gonna do, spray pesticides on everyone?
Everyone knows the true way to kill a gay is to inject them with hormones.
3 RepliesYou can buy stuff at a grocery store that when combined makes a deadly gas. Toss that homemade gas bomb into a crowded club then seal the exits. Let's say a town has a gang going around bludgeoning people with baseball bats. So they ban baseball bats. All they've effectively achieved is a town where nobody gets to play baseball anymore. The gang will still be attacking people.

Edited by XxIronEagIexX: 6/19/2016 4:48:56 AMAn assault rifle is a select fire fully automatic rifle.

I can sharpen a pencil to a sick point and hide it on my person. Ban that

7 RepliesI don't think you can just buy chemicals strong enough to kill 50 people without some kind of license.
-
4 RepliesAssault weapons of any kind I think are military grade. So no normal citizen can own them.

aussault
is that slang for assault rifles made in Australia?

I can drive a car downtown and run a good number of people over if I wanted to

1 ReplyThat's not really a valid argument. I don't see why Americans are so protective of their guns. Surely if you want to shoot something just go to a shooting range. I'm in the uk so obviously we don't have the right to bare arms and we really arnt bothered. I don't think your country has enough respect when it comes to guns. Watched a video the other day of two men arguing about something trivial. End of the story is one of the men whips out his pistol and starts waving it around. A lot of the people in America seem to be trigger happy and resort to pulling out their gun. But this is just my opinion......./fact

2 RepliesPeople kill people.
-
to bad he did not use an assault rifle
-
4 RepliesIf you mean assault rifles, they are already highly restricted. What the Orlando shooter had was a semi automatic rifle. Only military models have full auto. And only older ones at that. The M16A3 has safe, semiautomatic, and 3-round burst

17 RepliesIt needs to be harder to get a gun than it is to get a car.

What if someone in the crowd had something to shoot back and defend themselves with?
