Storing exotic engrams?
So i saw a comment saying engrams will be locked and wont help increase light level when new dlc drops, is this true as cant find any news on it? Since hitting 335 a while back i never bothered turning them in so ive got 60 just sittin in my vault 😞

Don't be that guy... All ur gonna be able to do is rank ur cryptarch up and se what stuff u get from his packages

With this being an Expansion and not an update they will more then likely be locked, it is never a bad idea to hold onto them though, you can use a bunch to level up your Cryptarch to get packages which then could get you year 3 guns and gear but most of those would not really help you much. My opinion is to save up a bunch of 3oC ans if you want to edge your factions.

Since it's an expansion I'd expect them to be locked, that being said, saving them to decode for RoI is still a good idea because you'll blow through Cryptarch levels witch will get you newer gear.

Bungie may change how engrams decrypt with rise of iron to keep people from getting close to max right away when the april update hit I went from 320 to 330 just by turning in exotic engrams, took a while 2 minutes.

5 RepliesThe usual way this works is that an engram will only produce an item from the RNG pool that existed at the moment of it's dropping.
