I agree ! They give us new dlc but make the old irrelevant. ..so here ya go new stuff but 80% of what you loved is now taken away (pun intended )

Let me just take you through Destiny to show how each update starting at year 2 has demenished what the game was and should have been. year 1, THE LAUNCH You play strikes and story mode, who the hell is xur ?and why do some people have blue flames around their head? Oh, nightfalls give you that because you earn an experience boost and right on! exotics can drop pretty consistantly and those are hard to come by everywhere else. That experience boost is nessassry as weapons must be grinded out to level up, which is cool, it gives me reason to patrol and do strikes as I test my weapon to see if I want to continue leveling it up. first update, THE VAULT OF GLASS WOW, awesome we get gear and weapons from this raid and meet lots of people that start as randoms but soon form clans together. Got to do normal and hard because the drops are different, first have to do my nightfalls though for the experience boost because weapons take so long to upgrade, as they should. Next update, IRON BANNER AWESOME, These weapons can be re-rolled when iron banner comes around and your level matters so my amazing prowess of defeating the raid over and over has giving me a slight advantage. ...plus some luck with the drops of course 6 month update, CROTA SWEET, a new raid, same as vog, normal mode drops are different from hard. 6 raids are a must. Lvl now 32, but my Lvl 30 vog stuff is still viable...so...12 raids plus a nightfall to do ! Yes ! TRIALS this is cool, good loot for the Pvp die hards. Now PvE and PvP players have an outlet to show off their skills. 9 month update, POE oh damn this is hard and what is this etheric light ? Hot damn I can bring my fate bringer and vog stuff to the new lvl. Damn it..I dismantled some stuff, back to venus and the damn gorgons. Oh, now I can re-roll every weapon...ok, but that's what made iron banner so special , those were the only weapons that can be re-rolled. YEAR 2, TAKEN KING Damn, my stuff I have sucks now, I have to throw it away for vault space cause even Rares are better than my fate bringer and the all mighty Gjallahorn. Hmmmmm...the nightfall sure sucks now, 3 of coins exist, no need to grind the nightfall anymore and no blue flame adorned around my head!? No more returning to orbit! What happened? Must have been too much whining from the masses. Least the raid is cool...but what's this? Hard and normal have the same stuff with the same perks ? Just different colors ...wtf. ahhh, quests....these are cool. (Till after 2 months when the drops for them are dismantling material and no need to get the experience for them, I will just use motes of light to level things up , almost a good idea) RETURN OF IRON BANNER hmmmm...no more rerolling weapons and why does a gaurdian at 295 light pack as much punch as my 320!? Guess size doesn't matter...anymore, even though they say it does. 6 months later, COE AND NEW MAX LIGHT HMMMM, everyone gets light like candy on Halloween. So much for all those raid hours every week. Wow..now I can infuse everything to what the infusing is...all the glimmer and materials I wasted . Ummmm this isn't even the old POE, it's just the same 3 levels every week with different challenge for points? And where is the challenge in this? This does not feel like destiny. The raid and nightfall are pointless, guess I will wait for trials and iron banner to give it ago. This is crap..what is there really to do ? That should sum up why so many have deserted the game, as I'm sure most of you have noticed your pages and pages of friends active dwindling more and more. Just look at all the year 1 activities there was to do that was worth while compared to where the game sits now. When's the last time you rode your sparrow? With each update or dlc since year 2, Destiny has become a shell of what it was and what it was supposed to be and there is no arguing that fact. Just imagine if all the content in Destiny was viable, it would make for an epic game with tons of options to do. They must listen to the 10 year old and younger demographic, because all Bungie has done was make the game so easy it feels like a child's game. PS Bungie. ..that demographic doesn't have the money to buy your games and dlc..so put on the big boy pants and stop catering to the generation of the participation trophy.

Maybe we just have hope for this game because it's so fun to play. We love this game and we want to see it get better, and Bungie is now taking very small steps to what the community actually wants out of this game.
