So I've been wanting to increase my kd for a long time and I've been getting a positive kd every match I play. Why does my kd not go up higher more quickly? Hopefully someone will read this and help me out!

Please, don't tell me that you've made it past 7th grade...

2 RepliesBecause most of the games you play you go negative

Cus it's simple math. It takes all your kills and all your deaths and averages them out. If it's not going up, you aren't doing as well as you say.

Because math.

2 RepliesWhy do people care about kd in a game like destiny. Just play and have fun.

Jet Set WillyIt’s all going concording to plan 😂🤣 - old
It's all about those totals. If you have loads of deaths then it's going to take a while to catch up. It will happen though. My 3 guardians were all positive (not by much) then I started playing trials to do the bounties and get gear. They're all under 1.0 now. I'm not bothered about it though. -
Well honestly you only go positive half the time, I looked through your history. Those .2's in trials are eliminating every positive game you have. Your average for the day seems to sit around a .6, which is only hurting your overall kd even more. Maybe try some different game nodes, control and trials seem to only be hampering your kd. Or try a different subclass, or play style,

5 RepliesIt's all about the maths and the averages. If you're early crucible performance is a bit rubbish (mine is terrible!), it'll take forever to push the average up. I'd probably have to delete characters and start afresh to go 'overall positive' this year.

Same reason my titan is stuck and 1.03 kd

Do you even maths bro?

Last dec. My kd was .75, i managed to fight it to a 1.1, im new to pvp, yr 1 i was a pver

1 ReplyIts simple math... Your hunter for example needs 1000 kills and 0 deaths to get to a positive kd. Even if you manage to sit around a 1,5 average nowadays it will take a long time to get even.
