3 Titans or 1 of each? Help me decide please!

I've been thinking of this for a really long time. Currently I have 1 of each, a 335 Titan, a 325 Hunter and a 318 Warlock. Now I am wondering of deleting my Hunter and Warlock to make two more Titans, which I think I might like, as it wont require as much work to get all three characters max light, and it wont be as hard getting god-rolls on the armors, as if I get it on one character I can just transfer between characters until I get another God-roll of that type of item. Sure it might get a bit boring and such but Titan is the class i enjoy the most, and I dont really feel like playing the other classes in anything else than Nightfall Strikes. So, I made a Pro and Con list: Pro: -3 of my favorite character -Easier to get max light and get gear for ur character -Always have the same playstyle (for example Oryx in raid, I can always be middle, which is what I like the most) -Can transfer gear between characters -Can run more than one raid/PoE every week (I can do this with 3 characters aswell but I just don't feel like doing it on anything else than Titan) -Easier to get good gear -I can get the lvl 1 (starting gear) back, It's just fun to have it in vault as a memory ya know. Con: -Less variety -Might get a bit boring -Have to get 2 characters up to level 40 -Lose my progress on my Hunter and Warlock (although that doesn't bother me too much, exept for my Warlock helm which i struggled a lot with to get xD) Please help me decide, should I go for 3 of my favorite class or stay with 1 of each where 2 characters isn't that much used.

  • 1 of each so you have a variety in styles of gameplay.

  • Keep one of each for sure

  • I'd keep one of each for two main reasons. The first reason, and this is just me, is that it would get boring with just one character. The second one is that you never know what could happen. Bungie could end up nerfing titans a bit too hard sometime in the future and they become just plain bad.

  • I had 3 warlocks first. I eventually made a hunter bc I wanted to run sword duty on the crota raid lol. Eventually I made a Titan for defender duty. Being able to play all 3 classes gives more options for raids too, it helps other players choose their classes knowing I can play anything to help the team out.

  • One of each. My main was a warlock in yr1 hated my hunter in her paper suit. Feeble. Now I main the hunter, great fun. Warlock sits and collects dust. But, to be honest, when a new major dlc drops they're all back at square one anyway. I went out first week of ttk in my best, etheric light boosted raid gear and was lower light than the green engram noob next to me still excitedly finding spinmetal.

  • 3 of one is easiest in the beginning but if you care about tier level (ids = 10, 11, 12) and armor perks it becomes difficult to make 3 "good" characters unless you still like to swap armor/guns when you switch characters. Having one of each means you can add more potential to your team by having the right character at the right time.

I would keep all three, in year one, hunter was my main, then I created other two, and since year 2, Titan has been my main, but I like to switch t up when I can, force myself into different play styles etc.

  • Just do what you feel! My favourite class changes all the time but that tells me that I love all of them for different reasons. I'm never bored as they all deliver different experiences whether it's subclasses, PvP playstyle or your role in raids. I'm the kinda guy that seeks the ultimate gaming experience from Destiny and be competent and versatile in all aspects if the game which, to me, requires having all 3 classes.

  • From Day 1, year 1, I've had a trio of hunters (2 awoken, 1 exo, 2 males and 1 female). I don't regret my choices for a second. The hunter character class has always been appealing to me due its badass space bounty hunter and rogue archetype. I have also tried three warlocks on my ps4 account and found the experience much less fulfilling. Never felt the urge to play as a titan due to it being the most generic "space tank soldier" character (i.e. Master Chief, Doom Guy, etc.)

I have two titans one hunter maxed out on one account, then two warlocks and one titan on another account. Its kinda nice when you have two of the same on one acount, you can get your light level maxed out quickly, then delete one and start another.

  • I have the same 3 I started with (Hunter/Warlock/Titan) Can't see myself missing out by playing 1 class.

  • I have one of each. Probably play as one per week. I started with a war lock and got him to level 40 before I started other characters

  • 1 of each. You can still infuse gear into all 3 characters. I use my Warlock 99.9% of the time. The others are just...there.

    • 1 of each would add more variety and therefore likely more replayability.

    • I had 3 warlocks at 335 until a week ago. I made a Titan then decided to do a Hunter 2 days ago. 0-40 ain't bad but the grind on levelling sub classes will be. I would keep the 3 different and use any high level Titan gear you are not using to infuse on the other characters.

      • I have one of each but have played my warlock most. I am trying to get all 9 faction class items; not only does this require all 3 classes but it also means I swap mains regularly to provide variety It also means I don't get mad when I get armour for a different class that the one I am using

          • If you really want an extra titan, you can try it my way. Delete the character you play the least, which for me was my warlock. And already have I played 5x as much om my new titan than on my old warlock. Still like te hunter quite a bit so I decided to keep that class.

            • Getting light level isn't really an issue even with three classes. Take your Titan stuff and give it to the warlock or hunter. They can use it to infuse their own stuff. I personally prefer 3 of each class, and I'm a Titan main like you. Tbh the hunter jump is not that bad, but the warlock jump...think Titan jumping in slow motion unless you voidwalker blink.
