We know more about the darkness than we know of the vanguard, speaker and traveler. We wake up after being dead for who knows how long and they don't tell us anything. Seems pretty fishy to me. They say they revied us to fight the darkness. But i think there's another reason they don't want us to find out about. Why did the stranger ask us for help instead of the vanguard. They were clearly stronger and more intelligent at the time and what did she mean when she said "there is so much more". How can we even trust our own ghost, how can trust the vanguard. There must be another purpose to why we were revied, and why now. The traveler has been dead for centuries. Why was our ghost looking for specifically us and not some other guardian. The stranger probably knows the vanguards true intentions and was maybe trying to warn us but had to go elsewhere because of her own timline. We are somehow different from the other guardians. Maybe we are a reincarnation of someone and still possess he/her or "IT'S" light and they need it for something. Maybe the exo stranger was once a vanguard and later went rouge for some reason. There has to be more than just to fight the darkness. The speaker was teasing us with that one coversation we had in the vanilla storyline. For all we know the vanguard are the true darkness. Remember we never had a choice, if it was the fallen, vex or even oryx who revied us what would've happened. There are so much questions we can ask but they refuse to tell us. What if we are the reincarnation of the traveler.
