[b]Please read newest edit at the bottom of this post![/b] [i]My friend told me to buy this game and after we'd played for a couple of hours and after much painstaking effort to configure my network so I could actually play the game he discovered that we could both do this quest "a tale of guardians". He went to the guy to start it and was successful. I don't really know what I'm doing so I just went along with it, after a while we noticed it wasn't on my quest list so I go to start it now from the guy in the tower and it doesn't give me an option? Surely he needs me to be able to complete it as it's a two player mission and you're linked with a specific person from what I can see from this website. He's worried that if he quits the quest he won't be able to get it back but we both want to be able to gain the rewards from the quest, any suggestions/fixes? We don't really know what to do. XboxOne GT: Aphotiic [/i] EDIT: I reiterate what I replied with in the comments; My friend is the Verteran and was able to start the quest, I am the new Guardian (referee) and have created the link/bond with him and I don't get an option to start the quest. Although it prompts me to on this website. He's unable to remove the link for us to try and start over as well. EDIT2: When I click the link https://www.bungie.net/en/Profile/ReferAFriend I can see his Gamertag. It says we BOTH need to visit the guy to start the quest. You can see a screenshot of this below(also posted further up): https://gyazo.com/763e6425ca2d8a4131740b548871d751.png I just reinstalled all of the expansions(Renewed the licences) and cleared the cache by following the steps in both the links you provided. Also completely reinstalled game few hours previous. Just went to the speaker again solo and with my friend in fire team and it still doesn't let me access the quest. [i]EDIT3 PLEASE READ!!! PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE THIS BUG! We need to know something is being done about it. It's annoying that we can't do the referral quest, but even more frustrating that it feels like this issue is being ignored! Lot's of people are having this issue, it's not just one or 2 people.[/i] EDIT4: Apparently Bungie are now aware of this issue, hopefully there will be a fix soon.
