I was playing the daily crucible, started getting a spam of "contacting destiny servers", but didn't really notice any lag. However when I tried to load the reef to buy a trials passage, I got disconnected, and now I've got a permanent "stork" error trying to connect.

Same I was about do freelance 3v3 and it started repeatly saying contacting destiny servers then I was booted to the title screen and when I tried to log in the stork message kept popping up. I even rebooted my Xbox but it keeps popping up .

Was grinding up gear on patrols and trying to get my missions cleared out when I got laggy with the same spam of "contacting destiny servers", tried logging out and back in only to get storked.

I had a similar case. I was doing the daily, killing the gate lord when "Contacting Destiny servers" appeared. I killed him, collected my legendary marks, and when I was about to join a friend to kill Skolas, BAM! got weaseled. Tried to log in again, but only storks awaited me on the title screen.
