I feel Bungie intentionally made the raid weapons pretty lame on purpose. They wanted people to use all different weapons so the raid weapons were just put there as infusion fuel.

They were deadly at the time, I still have all the raid dropped weapons, AND they all automatically reload themselves over time, that's one cool thing about them. When hard mode came out and I saw no interest in running the same boring raid for a reskinned gun that was no better than the one I already had, then came challenge mode, and by then I had quit for 6 months, remove two of the best raids and force feed us more and more of one of the shittiest raids they've made.

Why is it the shittiest raid? Mechanics wise, it's the cleanest raid. I loved VoG, but it's old man and 99% of players cheesed their way through half of it.And let's be honest, Crota's End was a glorified strike. NO raid should be soloable.
