MLG FFA is the worst playlist that has ever been in H3
I don't even know where to begin. I am so appalled by this horrid playlist that words cannot even begin to describe how bad it is.
First of all, why the HELL is it an 8 person FFA. Every single map is a small map. Some of them are even too small to be in TS, but you still put them in a 8 person FFA. I could understand these maps being in LW but MLG is too fast paced and hectic to have these tiny maps with 8 people. It's a cluster-blam!- of shots and nades and is just straight up retarded. 6 person MLG FFA would work and it would work good. 8 person FFA is horrible planning and whoever thought of this should be fired.
Secondly, what is up with heretic being 50%? Sure, it was good in Halo 2 no question, but in Halo 3 it is just a joke. Constant plasma nade spamming + small map = someone needs to be fired. Spawning with plasmas was a bad idea too. Oh look he's gonna kill me let me just stick him with the 19 plasmas i spawned with. In Halo 3, Heretic is not the best FFA map so it should not be weighted 4x as much as all the other maps.
Third, why are there even nades in the first place? If its MLG and its supposed to require skill to win, why is everyone spawning with nades. Sure, its only 2, but nades don't dissapear when someones dead, and they add up. Out of the 4 games I've played there have been about 20-40 kills per player. Which also means 20-40 deaths per player. So that means that there are 160-320 respawns which means that there are 320-640 grenades for kids to throw randomly and spam until they get kills.
Fourth, why was this so randomly decided. I hope it's a joke and gets removed because it is horrible.

I win. - Also, putting on 20 pounds of lean muscle in less than a year is pretty difficult. Unless you're taking roids which wouldn't surprise me considering you're pretty much a chode to begin with. Just because you don't lose rank from coming in the top half of the field, doesn't mean that all fourth place finishes are wins. A win is 1st place, always will be.

Complaining isn't going to do anything. The reason it was added is because there are FFA Tournaments in MLG. Everything in the playlist is the way it is in the tournys as well. I doubt that anything will change of it. And if you dont enjoy the playlist. Go back to Lone Wolves........

Secondly, it says that Heretic is 50%, but is it really? I've only played on it once.... Third: Again, I agree with you... However, it's kind of annoying to have your kills cleaned up because you couldn't throw a nade around the corner to get that one shot. Fourth: It's not horrible, it just needs to be fixed... Much like other playlists...

My only qualm with the mlg ffa playlist is connection. Hear me out: when I've gone to play it there have been at least 5 generals in every game, and if theres one thing I know about generals it is one of them is going to pull host. And every game so far it has been god awful. Last game I thought about quitting out because every time I threw a grenade it literally left my hand about a half second late... and this was everyone on green bar... wtf! I freaking pray we get dedicated servers and the lag will be at least equal. I also talked to a friend that believes theater mode actually screws up the game as well because the whole freaking game is being recorded on top of everything going on... and then theres the stuff about the netcode... I'm not sure all I do know is: MLG FFA is REALLY annoying because of lag. You could say that goes for every playlist, but the fact that everyone is better doesn't help the fact that they don't die.

Secondly what you said about spawning with nades is infuriating, clearly you've never played an MLG FFA in your life because you're supposed to spawn with nades! ARRRGHHH! Heretic is still a great map in H3, it's practically an exact remake of midship so don't say it's good in H2 but not in H3 cos you're lying, you either liked it both times or disliked it both times. Maybe you should just focus on the other playlists if you dislike this so much, because I can guarantee you that there's a lot of people who love it.
