So if you haven't tried defender Titan in PvP...
Try using it! This past week I have started playing PvP on my defender Titan and let me say, it's a very solid subclass. Since most people are running around as sunsingers and nightstalkers, having your bubble popped is very rare. Armor/blessing of light+shotgun is a beast combo to have when throwing your bubble in a good choke point or zone. So if you have overlooked defender Titans, or haven't consider using one, try it! You may find you like it!
Here is a simple gameplay I managed to pick up while playing some rift while trying it out!

I've had solid results with the Defender subclass in the past, long before I knew what Suppressors were capable of - I mostly stuck with ol' reliable Magnetic Grenades. (Pun not intended) Still, it's fun to completely shut down an incoming Stormtrance or Hammer of Sol with the Fist of Havoc. To be able to use a super-drawing shield in the Crucible, you are braver than I, fellow Titan.

22 RepliesYou're high. There are so many Gunslingers, Voidwalkers and ESPECIALLY Strikers. Typically bubbles get smashed all day every day. Also, the bubble relies 100% on people being stupid enough to run into it. There are plenty of matches where no one on the enemy team will take the bait.

1 ReplyDefender in pvp is so much fun when you learn how to use it. Shutting down a super with a suppression and then watching them spam R1 at air is my new favorite thing in the game

1 ReplyStriker is fairly useless in high level strikes/raids. Most of the abilities will just get you killed. Defender helps keep you and your party alive.

Unless things have changed no. I'm average at best but every time I pop my ward it seems to auto trigger the other teams supers.
