Because he feels like being stronger.
-
Because he is Randel, Randel the Vandel. He doesnt care. He was trained to breach the wall. That is the reason why he isnt there anymore.

What other low level enemy could tank 7 or more gally shots and maybe just maybe you would kill him

2 RepliesPut it this way, when randal walks, he isnt moving, hes spinning the earth with his feet.

21 RepliesEdited by DMGRGN: 6/5/2016 7:04:03 PMSince the Vandal on the Forgotten Shores isn't always the rocket eating maniac himself, it stands to reason that Randal is actuslly from a different timeline, and he was partially responsible for helping Skolas get ahold of the time-crossing Vex technology from the Vault of Glass. His timeline is unstable, which is why he's only on the Shores sporadically, but as a consequence of this instability, he is extremely difficult to damage, as the timelime is constantly moving him between undamaged states. Even when he's defeated, he remains alive, having been "traded" between timelines at the moment of his fall. How he learned this power, or even if he is able to control it at all, is unknown, a mystery that perhaps he himself hasn't even begun to solve. Alternate theories say that he has learned how to create hive throne-worlds, and that the cave behind his territory leads to a place where his power is absolute; only by defeating him in this throne-world can he be truly defeated. But the question remains: does he know of his own ability? If so, where did he learn such things? Perhaps it is best if the answers remain hidden. The truth may be far more terrible than anything we can imagine.

1 ReplyHe was originally used by devs for damage testing, he had to have high hp so he could take a pounding, if he died straight away you wouldnt have tested much.
