How to hit rank 25 in any faction fast?
I am wanting to know what is the fastest way to rank up my faction from 0 to 25 very fast. How many of ratchet materials would I need?

Do everything you can for motes and strange coins. Then turn in your strange coins with xur for heavy ammo synths. Then turn everything into your faction. I've been getting 10+ ranks a week like this and I'm pretty casual.

Run the old raids turn in the shards for motes , run all 3poes, do daily bounties, spam xur for heavy, and when full on glimmer and marks buy weapon parts and mats, gained 5 ranks in my titan in 2 days and 6 on my warlock

Can't really add much other than to have a glimmer consumable on whenever possible.Dont let yourself cap on glimmer,just buy weapon parts to donate to factions or buy heavy from Variks if you have surplus Ether seeds.Legendary marks can be spent on planetary materials to donate further,but I don't think it's that efficient tbh.

Strikes/crucible with boosters on and a class item with increased rep from either. Get 100+ faction rep each game/strike. Plus motes/coins from after match rewards, along with engrams that can decrypt into motes and coins, [i]and[/i]all that faction/crucible/cryptarch rep will give you more motes and coins and glimmer(which can be turned in for heavy synth)each rank up.

2 RepliesHere's a tip on getting motes that not a lot of people use. It's not gonna give you rank 25 tomorrow, but if you're not doing this you're wasting potential motes. Most engrams decrypt to crappy blues that we would never use. But they can still be useful. When you're about to turn in bounties you equip items that need to be leveled, right? But do you always have an item that isn't fully leveled in every weapon/gear slot? If not, equip one of those seemingly useless blues (or a purple that you were gonna delete for marks). Level it up all the way [b]but don't actually activate any of the nodes[/b] as they become unlocked. When it has gained max experience, dismantle it. You'll get two motes, some weapon parts and glimmer. Note that you put nothing into this because you weren't activating the nodes. I always save one "useless" item for each weapon/gear slot so I can always do this. And don't do strikes like others are saying (unless you actually need strikes for something else). Do the old PoE. Level 28 PoE should take less time than a strike and you get tons of good loot (motes, coins, and things that can be dismantled/turned in for HoJ rep). Plus, any legendary weapon you get from old PoE will give a mote upon dismantling even if the weapon hasn't been leveled at all. Even better, you could get a Hopscotch Pilgrim that you can re-roll and once you do you'll be averaging one piece of hate mail every other match (which has to be top 1%).

Play hard. Donate all of your motes. Buy heavies from Variks for 250g +1 Ether seeds. Or Xur for Strange coins. Donate.

Grind heroic strikes. It gives decent rep for your faction. Plus you get Strange Coins, motes and exp (which gives more motes) and blue items which can be dismantled for armor and weapon parts. All if these items can be turned in for rep.

Play the game, spam heavy synths, motes, use legendary marks to buy materials to give for rep and not much else.

Just grind strikes To get strange coins and rep. Get vanguard lvl up. Receive rep booster, grind more. Have +100 strange coins when xur comes. Buy heavy ammo. 100 strange coins=300 heavy synths= 3 faction lvl ups.
