Is battleborn worth buying for Xbox One?
I see it's on sale for like $39 and I was curious if people think I should get it or not. Also, don't tell me to get overwatch instead. I just want to talk specifically about Battleborn.

I saw that and decided to pick it up. It's ok, the missions are just glorified horde modes, and most of the hero's have to be unlocked. Also, this might be because I played it right after I played overwatch, but the gunplay feels a bit clunky. The humor is worse than bl2 (just my opinion of course, I felt bl1 humor was more on the dark side, and enjoyed it. Bl2 felt more immature "fart jokes" type of humor, battleborn is more of that basically). All in all though, it's not bad. I'd say it's a good deal to get the game and the season pass both for $40.

The "campaign" has only eight episodes so far and I wonder if more will come later, I have yet to finish it and I have enjoyed it so far; however it seems to me that each mission you have to either go to an area, fight a boss or end up running to a point and defending it until you go to an area and fight a boss. That said, I guess you could say it can get repetitive fairly quickly. The humor in the game is typical that of Gearbox, so that can be a good thing if you got a laugh out of it from the Borderlands series.

Yes do it. I was on the fence about it but once it was on sale I'm glad I made the purchase. I play mostly solo so the campaign is definitely worth playing, feels like a totally new experience with each character. It's a very funny game and just a blast. I'd recommend it, especially since it's on sale.

No, don't, save your cash. Buy another game. Are you a blizzard fan? I hear there's a game that came out recently by blizzard that looks way cooler and is more fun than Battleborn. If you want to play a moba play smite it's free. But that new BLIZZARD game, man it's cool, you should try it.

I'm on PlayStation, but unless there are serious glitches that affect the Xbox version only, the game is definitely worth picking up.

Yeah, I'm enjoying it a lot. Though it did flop in terms of sales, I consistently find lobbies at any time of the day (ps4). Honestly though you could probably find a better deal than $40 as I got my copy for $35 at [u]gamestop[/u].
