What sort of sniping takes the most skill
Apparently hardscoping with a sniper to improve your kd takes skill

I've never known sniping in a video game to be as easy as it is in Destiny. I thought CoD MW2 was bad, but this??!! Jeez!!

So real life snipers. Real snipers hard scope. They pitch a tent, kill someone then pack up and pitch that tent in a new spot. Quick scoping and no scoping don't take skill, unless you're in CoD. Then that is the only skill.

Lol I don't hard-scope often can show you my Montage if you want. But hardscoping is the way you're SUPPOSED to snipe. In rl, battlefield etc. Lol

Do you think people in the military keep their rifles at the hip until the see someone and then quickscope? No, because that would be -blam!-ing stupid and probably get them killed.

Literally no special weapon takes skill. Albeit, fusion rifles and sidearms take slightly more. Most do not take any.

I aggressively snipe and I'm constantly pushing forward. The only time I'll hard scope is an orb in trials. I don't like head glitching or camping and try and hit as many heads as I can.

1 ReplySure it doesn't take skill to snipe, it's not supposed to, but it does take skill to anticipate targets and know map layout and adapt to the surrounding, hard scoping 24/7 is going to get you killed if you are playing against anyone remotely decent. 1 ReplyNo Land Beyond takes the most skill. No zoom scope. Minimal Aim Assist. It has a scope glint, even though it has no scope (Bungie, that was a stupid oversight). And while it can kill at close and medium range rather effectively, you are at greater risk because you are in such close quarters with primary weapons.

1 ReplyRight now, in the middle of the sniper meta, with all their comp nerfed, very little skill is needed to be a good sniper. Get yourself a longbow and see what I mean. Easy mode.
