I hereby issue a Challenge (week 2)

Following the success of the 'Red Bar Lore' challenge, I figured it only right the next challenge pertained to the most fearsome, most terrible, and most important enemy thus far in Destiny. The challenge is thus: write Lore about Randal the Vandal This can be about anything he can be woven into (how he got strong, specific battles, etc.). Aim for Grimoire card style (doesn't have to be, just a suggestion :) ), and post yours in a comment below. The winner gets the esteemed title of Community Lore Keeper for a week (I still can't give prizes) The challenge runs from now to to next Armsday (beginning of Wednesday) when the winner will be announced and a new challenge issued... Remember this is all for fun so enjoy it :) Edit: fixed An autocorrect :) and have to say that for the first day, we have had real great work here, good job everyone, keep it coming :) Edit 2: for those interested, here's a link to the 'Red Bar' lore challenge: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/205416367/0/0 Edit 3: just a reminder that the challenge ends at the end of Tuesday, so for those who have yet to write (and want to) keep this in mind. Also I'm loving the Randal Lore you're all writing :) Edit 4: just reminding you that there's only until the end of today left to get you lore in; the winner shall be announced tomorrow (Armsday) and the new challenge issued :) Edit 5: ANNOUNCING THE WINNER Wow, there has been many great, no, fantastic pieces of lore written here, and I would like to select more than one, but there can only be one winner. The title of Community Lore Keeper goes to: LilHorsenuts Congratulations! Your words have woven a reality fit for the world of Destiny, enjoy your reward. Should you wish to maintain the title, I suggest keeping an eye out for the next challenge... But before we get to that we have to have some honourable mentions: Clone148 S1lverdragon701 Basebalbasebak14 Bacon a Chicken And a big thank you to everyone who participated in this bit of fun :) I shall have a link to the next challenge shortly but feel free to continue with the Randal Lore; you've made some legendary stuff here :) Edit 6: the Next Challenge https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/206191205/0/0 (Also, for all future challenges I shall be using the tag 'Rossap' so that they are easier to find :) )

    Grimoire Card: Randal the Vandal
An eliksni walked slowly into it's designated resting quarters, and knelt on the cushioning before a small shrine. It had been a long day. Stationary Guard duties always felt longer than they were, but that's all he seemed to get anymore. He removed his mask and took a large breath of ether, and began to mediate. He knelt there for some time, until his body ached, breaking his trance, causing his mind to wander. Life had gotten worse once the Thieves took notice of his strength. They'd come, they'd fight, they'd die, they'd come again, and again, and again. Dead soldiers never stayed dead. They seemed to develop a fondness for him, every now and then, they would wave at him before continuing with their business, he never waved back. They have event taken to calling him "Ruńe-dál." An intresting gesture to say the least, calling him by a name as honorable as "Holder of Wisdom" as well as in his tongue. But lately, they have shown less intrest in him, most likely due to the campaign Skolas lead. What a fool to think himself Kell of Kells. "Feh" Ruńe-dál scoffed at the thought. Next he'd think himself he who could catch the stars. As naive as a Dreg, he is. True Kell of Kells would know when to strike and where to strike from. True Kell of Kells could unite the Houses with patience, not with force. True Kell of Kells would know Humility from the work of a Dreg as well as Honor from the work of a Kell. "Mhhhh..." Ruńe-dál pondered, and stood from his shrine, walking to a container chest. 'At least one good thing came from that fool's dream,' He thought, opening the chest to find the Robes of a Kell with a sign that resembled no House. 'Thieves think True Kell of Kells agenda is in motion,' Ruńe-dál thought, 'I shall fulfill my duty and unite the Houses, but all things in due time' He thought before closing the chest. The eliksni walked back to the shrine to retrieve his mask and left his quarters.
