What is the longest range fusion rifle besides queenbreakers bow? Right now im using plan c.

1 ReplyMy Legendary 77 Wizard has 70 Range and 97 impact.

1 ReplySleeper Vex Mythoclast Plan C If you are talking about non exotics it is the slower firing type. PRO TIP - The higher the impact is, the faster the bolt projectiles will travel confirmed by Bungie in multiple Planet Destiny crucible discussions The best stats for fusions are stability and range. Everything else is preference

Dark blade spite at least my roll

5 RepliesRange is really not an issue with fusions, projectile spread is your primary limiting factor and the reason I think braced frame is the best perk for any fusion. I was cross mapping a boss last week with a fusion, then ran up in his grill and shot him a few more times and the damage numbers were the same from either distance. I would like to know if there really is damage dropoff with fusions at any distance.

I think high impact slow charge ones for sure. I can say my Vacancy has great range with ton of stability

To me it seems like the higher the impact (slower charging), the better the range. Stability perks keep your bolts from premature spread due to recoil during fire. Rangefinder and Accelerated Coils on a high impact FR are the way to go. A little Stability and knowing how to hold your recoil down goes a long way.

6 RepliesEdited by TrulyDontCare: 6/1/2016 7:02:34 PMGood question. I'm kind of curious about that. They all have different ranges that are separate from the range stat (that only has to do with projectile speed). That's just what I've heard, BTW. I always assumed you'd get better range with the range stat high because the projectiles would travel further before the damage drop off started. Anyhow, my Thesan can consistently kill guardians at midrange and I use it to fight bosses from sniper range. If anything is better than that, I'd definitely like to see it.
For the record, that Thesan has Rangefinder, Hot Swap, and Braced Frame. That means it has tons of ADS range and max stability.
The bow is a different fusion rifle. You can't compare it with other fusion rifles (vex is another different fusion rifle). The range stat on fusion rifles is not really "range." You want a fusion that can consistently kill at long ranges, get one with high stability.

2 Repliesplan c is close but the vacancy dough

Without dissecting every word you posted I know what you're asking. The vacancy from the vendor, susano, and any fusion that are rolled like the vacancy shoot pretty far. I've been surprised by them. I have a couple of the crucible FRs that do the job also, they have about that same roll.

Fusions use range for projectile speed and stability for grouping. There is do damage fallout on fusion rifles so range is whatever it hits. (To my knowledge)
-
Get the vendor one from the FWC. Max it's stability and that thing can snipe surprisingly well.

Purifier vii

Shoot for stability, not range.

I've gotten insanely long range kills with plan C. Remember to "pull the spread" as its firing drag the stick down and left to hold the spread in a much better kill pattern

I have an ashravens flight with red dot OAS, rifled barrel and hidden hand, it has just a sliver less range than plan-c and more stability than plan-c. Besides using the plan-c quick charge, I prefer my ashravens by a lot.
