Large crucible map on the moon ?
one time, only one time, I get on a very large pvp map on the moon.
Véhicule allowed, turret available, perfect for snipers...
What happenned with this map ? I play destiny since TTK and have seen it one time only.
I though it was new... But seems to be only extremly rare... Any reason for that ?

8 RepliesThey took first light, bastion and skyshock out of the rotation again I think. And thank god, those were the most boring ass games I never one time saw a game complete on score, they always went to the time limit with winning scores around 12,000-15,000 Half the time you could run around for minutes without seeing another enemy Those maps sucked major balls 12v12 or 16v16 they would be great, 6v6? Far far too big and empty and boring as fcuk

I would love to see 8 v 8 in Destiny, and if that every happens I would love to see those maps come back.

It's the map from the Beta, it's called First Light. It is in extremely limited rotation in year two playlists. If you play Classic it will probably appear more frequently.

That was the map I completed the "void kills in the crucible" part of the Thorn bounty. That's how old it it.

2 RepliesIt was removed, it was an extreme rarity that a game ever went to the end on that map. The time would always run out, many people would have trouble even finding enemies half the time. If they had 12v12 on that map it would be epic as -blam!- tho.

It was in the beta it isn't new, you used to be able to play it in the " Combined Arms" game mode but they took that out I think not sure.

My point is mainly that I would be happy to try them enough to have my own opinion... Tried only "first light" one time and it was already started when I pop up :-) I will try a little classic then. I can understand some people dont like but having it 1 time in around 8month is weird. :) Thx all for feedback !

It's called First Light, and is actually from Vanilla Destiny. It was removed from regular rotation because it's a terrible map. See also: Bastion and SKYSHOCK

Yes it's only on certain game modes like control and is rarely ever rotated in. Not many people like that map unfortunately.
