WHY?!?! Why the weak NF loot
My drops are as follows: Titan: A ghost (what?) Warlock: A Samsara helmet (a helmet, really)Hunter: 18 strange coins( its ok I guess) WHY is the loot horrific, I usually get better loot than this nonsense. Please make it to where a Nightfall of all things gives you better gear, its ridiculous. And I'm not crazy either because my Nf partners also got nothing worth keeping.

NF is not as "hard" as it used to be, ever since they removed the penalty of going back to orbit. So now they're just like any other strike, with more modifiers. No penalty of dying at the boss and having to do that all over again.

I got that fusion rifle, it made the nightfall worth it. You have to admit that this nightfall was easy. Easy enough to to farm for the strike specific gear.

I don't play NF anymore. loot was never worth it. Only time I would do it Was when you got a 20% XP buff but that was a long time ago.

Yeah I soloed that shyt today.. First curse 1K and the new void sword. 235 kills 2 death 1passing through the shrieker room and 1 because alak hul spawned right on top of me with a cursed thrall near me.. Didn't get exotic from ToC, no strike specific loot, and finally 330 auto with terrible perks.. Not worth it.

I was actually surprised I got an exotic warlock helmet this week. The other two runs I did I got blue engrams and 320 ghost.

Exotic armor Exotic weapons Legendary weapons Are all that should drop from nightfall I'm fine with a emote package as well But ghosts, legendary armor, strange coins, motes of light or 3 of coins are just dumb

In fact, the entire Destiny experience has always been like this -- a mixed bag (a "variable ratio," if you will) of frustration and exhilaration interspersed with moments of blood-boiling rage. I grinded (ground?) the IB to level five on my PS4 titan solely for the potential of the package reward. Know what I got? A sidearm, of which I had three in my inventory already. It happens. Believe it or not, it's those hours, days, weeks of frustration that give the few seconds of exhilaration their value. Sounds crazy, but it's true.

I haven't had anything worth while for over a month....I don't do nightfalls anymore.

Spite I got dropped with this set of perks: true sight/red dot oas, hip fire, hot swap and quick draw lol seems like a perfect roll but have not used it yet.

I've only done one this week, one of the guys got 335 Celestial Nighthawk helmet, I had a 3oC guantlet drop + misc junk couple weeks ago I got the 335 taken shotgun - usually 1 out of the 3 runs makes up for the other 2 with lame stuff, sometimes something decent all 3 some crap loot is mixed in but considering how short/easy they are, the loot can be pretty good

1 ReplyI agree I got Warlock 1 - 320 bond Warlock 2 - 320 ghost and 320 blue hand cannon Hunter - 320 cloak and a 300 blue sniper rifle. Just dumb!

So far this week I've gotten a helmet and a chest plate from the NF. I did manage to get Darkblade's Spite to drop and it was one of the strike exclusives I've yet to get so I'm kind of happy with it I guess

Nightfall rewards have been awful for a long time now. But Nightfall has also been really easy for the same amount of time. It's an activity that's only a minor challenge to solo most weeks and the orbit wipes are gone. Basically I'm saying that it's hard to demand better rewards from something so easy. They need to bring back orbit wipes, remove ghosts and vender-quality gear from the loot table*, and greatly increase the drop rate of associated strike-specific loot during Nightfall. *Personally, I'd like to see horn kits and other frivolous rewards removed from the table, too, but I'm not sure everyone would agree with that.

This week I got 2x 330 Ghosts. 330 Havoc Pigeon. Haven't been THAT disappointed in a nightfall for ages.

1 ReplyI got all my gear to 335, I have all achievements and near max grimiore. I think I'm done until the next expansion. I honestly don't see the point of doing weekly activities anymore.

Grind it out for a good Darkblade's Spite.

Only done it once so far. Got a jabberhakke sidearm with high cal rounds. Ok, but not preferable.
