I've found an amazing strategy for baiting and killing Titans. It only works for Nightstalkers, but I promise it's worth trying because it's -blam!-ing hilarious.
In a recent thread I made to joke about Nightstalkers (you've got to able to make fun of yourself) I noticed a ton of Titans saying they can't resist chasing after a Nightstalker when he Shade Steps away from a fight.
I thought about it and that really is common. Titans almost always chase me when I try to flee.
So, I started doing it before I was even in danger, but I wouldn't really run away. I'll go around a nearby corner and get my fusion rifle ready.
9/10 times they'll come running after me in a blind rage and I get to waste them as they come around the corner. If you have decent fusion skills you can even take out Strikers before a Shoulder Charge.
This whole process happens very, very quickly. If you do it, expect them to be right -blam!-ing behind you.
Also, you might lose your next firefight because you're laughing.
Maybe it's just me, but it's -blam!-ing hilarious how predictable that is. It seems like 90% of Titans get so angry when seeing Shade Step they have to do something about it. It's like waving a steak at a dog. They can't resist it.
But, keep in mind I'm somebody who just tries having fun in PvP. This probably isn't a strategy to raise your k/d or win a match, but it's great for a laugh and it's an easy way to watch a Titan lose his shit during a match (they will get angry afterwards, so be ready for that).
No hate to Titans. You guys, especially Strikers, are the antithesis of Nightstalkers. If I didn't single you out, I'd feel like I'm not doing my job.
1 ReplyIdk when I wait for someone around a corner I'm about 10 feet in the air with a shotgun pointed straight down. And if I'm chasing someone around a corner whether they have shade step or not, I'm about 10 feet in the air with a shot gun pointed straight down.
