Jared walks, Rifle out, having just entered the room of the Baltic Manticores of the Militarium Tempestus of the Imperium of Man. He's not sure what to expect, so he has his rifle aimed and he moves quietly

These footsteps hadn't sounded human however, instead they seemed as if they echoed off the walls with an inhuman loudness, topped only by the metallic noise of the steps. Whatever was behind Jared, it was massive. [/b][/i]"Halt!" [i][b]The voice commanded, with a metallic ring that gave it a truly frightening sound to his words. [/b][/i]

[i][b]The figure that stood there was truly astounding: He bore a tall, eight foot set of white armour, with red accents. He was an Astares, and he held his Chainsword in his right hand, with his Bolter Pistol in his left. The blade of the weapon activated and the chain on the outside let out a menacing roar, making the man speak over it loudly. [/b][/i]"Lower. The weapon."

Quickly enough, he was met by a patrol of Tempestus Scions, about ten of them. Some had Hotshot hellguns, while some wielded plasma guns, meltas or flamers. [i]"Halt! Who goes there?"[/i] They surrounded him, their weapons pointed at him.

"We were stationed on... On... Shit. That explains why I can't explain where Okinawa was. I've got -blam!-ing amnesia from the crash." He looks up at them. "I do not remember. I've been in cryo sleep for god knows how long."
