I received a package from the postmaster for two of my characters which included a shader (legendary), emote (legendary), and class item (exotic). I was able to equip them and use them until I logged out, the next time I logged in they were darkened and said that I couldn't use them unless I had purchased the Taken King: Collector's Edition. Is this a glitch, or some kind of scheme to entice a player to upgrade to the collectors edition? I also infused a few of my higher light level warlock bonds into one of these exotic class items (before the infusion buff) because it had "the life exotic" perk, and now it is unusable, and a total waist of exotic shards and bonds. Any info on this would be appreciated. Just to be clear I have not purchased the Taken King: Collector's Edition. These packages just showed up at the postmaster.
