Edited by LahDsai: 5/27/2016 6:32:46 PM"Gay" has been around a loooooong time and has held many different meanings including: carefree, loose, jovial, prostitute, womanizer, stupid, silly, promiscuous, frivolous, etc.[spoiler]in the example above the woman is calling the other out for being a prostitute[/spoiler] It's usage as an insult (nor to mean "stupid") is not a uniquely modern phenomenon.
