Which one do you think works best for both PvE and PvP?

11 RepliesNightstalker makes the other subclasses completly obselete.

3 Replies91% of you are dead wrong.
bladedancer 4ever!!!
Nightstalker obviously.

2 RepliesCelestial Knighthawk + this weeks nightfall = Yeee

I love my Nightstalker a lot, primarily because I can shut down supers, and I have quiver so I have three shots with my void bow, blade dancer is a rather aggressive yet gentle super, I think it's still a good super though. Golden Gun, ahh old Goldie, I don't mind using the gunslinger that much in pvp or pve. Overall though, I still love all the Hunter subclasses.

Best all around subclass is nightstalker, Gunslinger although a killing machine in both just doesn't have the proper super to justify use in PVE unless you run with Celestial Nighthawk, which will limit you to just one golden gun shot that guarantees a kill. Same thing with Bladedancer, they may have a slightly more flexible subclass however their super is not the most efficient thing for killing adds in PVE. Nightstalker however, can be played in both PVE and PVP to either support teammates or play an offensive zone control. If their super does not kill, it will weaken the enemies and tether anyone else around and make it easy kills for everyone on your team. Smokebombs can also be utilized to either help you and teammates go invisible or act like a secondary poison grenade that can hugely compliment a well placed firewall grenade giving you more control of the firefight. Having fieldscout can also help locate enemies faster and any even follow enemy movement after applying damage. In the end however it all depends on play style, but Nightstalker is the best all around subclass that encourages either the offensive or even defensive play style.

Why is this even a question? Nightstalker all day, everyday.

I havent used nightstalker yet so gunslinger
-
Haze says is bladedancer. Is make toast many good

1 ReplyIf only they would bump golden gun up to year two damage. It's sad that with three crit shots on golden gun total 20,436 in damage while one shot of Sleeper Simulant does 23,000.
-
25 RepliesObviously gunslinger. 3 free kills every couple minutes
-
1 ReplyThe overwhelming choice based on the parameter of best for both is what I voted too- Nightstalker. Although I use Bladedancer exclusively in pvp.
-
I run a full strength build utilizing flaming throwing knives. Golden gun is an incredible super, and if you're good at landing head shots with your knives, shotgunners, confident "I have superior melee range" warlocks, and raging shoulder charge Titans will sprint right into a knife in the face. It works way too often! The power of smoke and shade step cannot be understated, however. Let's not count out those blink shotgunners though. I know praising all three subclasses doesn't help this argument but I just love playing Hunter!

PvE-NS PVP-GG

Depends on what u prefer, I like using all 3 subclasses just depends on how I'm feeling
-
Nightstalker is best all around. But most would argue it's better to use blade in pvp if you know how to use it. I play all three each week but I find myself using blade the most in standard pvp.
-
Nightstalker is the best all around because the other two's supers are terrible in PvE
-
Bladeslinger
-
The poll results show how easy is it to use each subclass. And how much skill they don't require

3 RepliesEdited by KannibalKlown: 5/28/2016 6:51:21 PMNightstalker is way useful in PvE whether solo or on a team Gunslinger would be alright in PvE if the gun did more against yellows.
-
Nighstalker orbs for days in love PvP if they fixed the tether too register quicker it shutdowns supers
-
5 RepliesThe blade dancer is good for specifically pvp. Gunslinger is good for pvp and okay for pve. The nightstalker is good for both. You have the shade step to get away from anything, the bow can tether, and is just as good as the golden gun if you are running quiver. Tether is a huge part in pve, and wombs goes ham on any enemy.

I always change from PVP to PvE. PVP: Gunslinger -throwing knives -Golden Gun -Tripmines PvE: Nightstalker -invisible bombs -shadow shot -Agility
-
Strikes: Gunslinger Raids: Nightstalker PoE: Bladedancer Crucible: They're all pretty equal
-
Edited by Deluxe Nachos: 5/28/2016 6:58:24 PMNightstalker is definitely the best for pve, and is also a solid choice for pvp. Bladedancer has one of the best pvp-oriented classes in the game. -3 top tier grenades -ranged melee capable of a one hit OR insanely fast charge time -roaming super with no kill limit -blink or controlled jump -quickdraw -heal on melee/super kill OR extend super duration on kill -invisibility

5 RepliesNone of them are well rounded nightstlker bad Gernades blade dancer bad melee and Gernades gunslinger bad melee
