Balance the Rewards System for Strikes/Crucible

I know for certain I am not the only one here that feels that the rewards system is broken and dangerously random. Here's and algorithm to fix all problems. You have two rewards to earn, if you're lucky, three. Everyone should get one. For first prize: Take the overall kills of the team then turn everyone's contribution into a percent then apply the rewards. (Example, say you got 9 kills and the rest of the team got 10. 59 divided by nine is?...) (Rare can translate to Uncommon for low levels) --- --- --- 0-9: Nothing or 1x glimmer treasure. 10-19: Nonengram Rare Gear, 2x glimmer treasure. 20-39: Random Rare Engram, 3x glimmer treasure, 1x Strange Coin, 1x Passage Coin or 1x Mote of Light 40-69: Random Rare Engram, Random Legendary Engram, 1x Royal Amethyst, 2x Strange Coins, 2x Passage Coins or 2x Mote of Light. 70-99: Random Legendary Engram, 3x Royal Amethyst, 5x Strange Coins, 5x Passage Coins or 5x Motes of Light. 100: Exotic, 5x Royal Amethyst, 15x Strange, 15x Passage or 15x Mote.You deserve it buddy. --- --- --- 2nd Reward is similar to the first, but instead of Kill Contribution, it's Objective Contribution. 3rd, Could stay random, OR it could be assist contribution. And if you're the winning team, each player gets a rare engram. Losing team gets a random rare gear. (difference is cryptarch rank) Everyone knows I'm right on this. I'm talked to friends about it and they agree this is fair. For fun, take your last game, then count the total kills and what your kills were. You're X and total is Y..... X divided by Y. What would you have gotten? .... This could also root out the carrys in Trials... Who would like a real fight? Edit 1: (added glimmer treasures to bottom three and Royal Amythest to top three, and a winning team bonus) I think some of you skimmed over this. The first and 2nd reward are handed over to the players that put in work. There's still a random third. It's not right to be in the top 3 and not get a damn thing, when the player who's joined at the very last second and gets a 320 class item in IB (this was me and I felt like trash for it). NOW I'm not saying the person with the lowest score is trash and doesn't deserve anything at all, I'm just saying the person on top at least deserves something fancy. You know? Also note, if you get into either of the top two contribution scores, you were pretty well soloing the entire team.

  • The rank rewards when you level up are still bizarre. Had 3 satriene rapiers and a zombie apocalypse. Oh, and terrible armour galore.

    • So the rich get richer, and more dangerous, due to the practice AND getting better gear. But the poor SOB that didn't do well gets nothing. Then the next match he's fighting against people more dangerous than last time And thus probably losing Then the NEXT match he's fighting against people even MORE dangerous than before And thus he's probably losing. -------------------------- The only fair way is random. Iron Banner got it right last month, every X matches I got something where I was on the top / middle / bottom of the team.

      So, if my team has 80 kills, and me 2, I'll get a legendary? And if I have 80 kills, and my team 20? 100 divided by 80 is not much. And if I have 1 kill, and my team 100, then I'll get an exotic? Doesn't sound fair to me.
