I don't like saying "best" or "favorite". You can make a case for any exotic (or otherwise) in situational scenarios. (I.E. different maps, ranges, better at different things, PvE vs PvP etc.) Mida is an obvious favorite. I think it might take the cake for most versatile. Vision was a beast and made the effort to get it worth it back then. I honest like Jade Rabbit tho. I thought it was great just for PvE but I've come to love it in PvP. Thing is, you can't just strap on any gun and use it the way you did your last. I was used to using a Tounela (or however the hell that's spelled) with firefly. You pump your most accurate rounds into people and hope for the kill. The Rabbit is it's own scout. First thing you notice is the abysmal mag size. But that's a book by it's cover. Two to the chest, one to the head gentlemen. The headshot does more dmg. AND it doesn't have to kill but doing 2:1 with this thing puts those rounds back in your mag every time. We know all this, but have you ever tried to really pimp with this thing? If used correctly this damn thing is unstoppable even in PVP. The key is to get some distance away from those pesky shotguns and autos, take your time, move slowly and carefully, and pick your shots. The Rabbit encourages the wielder to do this. When you do? It's wabbit season. People can't get close to you unless they blindside you. I'd also have to mention Bad Juju. Another gun that gets a bad rap but in the right hands just owns. Hung Jury for sure. Especially triple tap and firefly. A beast, and lets you wield other stuff too.
