Um..... ok? What's up with that? The Wii can't be THAT old for it to be cheap. I feel like I should have gotten at least $70. And on that day also I sold and xbox 360, about 15 or so xbox games, at least 10 DS games, the Wii I was talking about, and one or two controllers. In total was.... $110.56
I mean it's not bad cash but I feel like I could've gotten more out of that stuff. Maybe I should have sold the stuff on Craig'slist or ebay
Btw it was store credit. And it turns out I got a really good deal for the Wii

Omg, how did you not know about gamestop

1 ReplyStore credit or cash?
-
The last special I saw them for like $150 new, and that was like 6 years ago. Be glad you got what you did.

2 RepliesIsnt the wii like 10 years old tho?

For everyone who feels like Gamestop is a ripoff - if you're right you've identified a HUGE market opportunity. You really should look into opening your own store where you pay more than they do for used stuff and sell it for less than they do. A really tight profit margin will sink them.

3 RepliesClassic GameStop. You can buy a game. Walk out the door. Walk right back in and they'll offer you $10 if you're lucky then sell it $55 used. Place is a scam I refuse to buy there.
-
4 RepliesI got $5 for mine.
-
1 ReplyConsidering Wii is last gen, you got a good deal. They only gave me $34 for my 360.
-
Ummm wii and Nentendo is failing and hanging by threads at this point
-
You must be new to gamestop's rip-off policy, OP. Never sell to them.
-
1 ReplyHow much would you pay, today, for a used Wii?
-
$56? Thats a lot of money judging how the Wii is complete and utter garbage. You got yourself a goo deal.

4 RepliesGameStop gay as hell
-
That's gamestop for ya. Buy cheap then flip for a larger profit. They make more on pre owns than they make on new games.
-
Lucky... At my local GameStop a Wii is sold at 20 bucks... It's bull

8 RepliesEdited by Ram: 5/25/2016 5:53:24 PMDude, GameStop sucks when it comes to Nintendo products. They buy them cheap and sell them at high prices. Example: I've always wanted a copy of Xenoblade Chronicles for Wii, but they never had it. I finally found a used copy, but instead of it being cheaper than $49.99 (which was the price for Wii games) it was actually more expensive at $55. Another example is that I bought my Wii copy of Twilight Princess for $16, but 2 years later I see it now goes for $25. It also takes a long time for Nintendo games to go down in value. Like a year later, Arkham Knight is now $20, but Windwaker HD is still around $50.

My 360 is worth like $50-$60.
-
Your first and only mistake was going to gamestop.
-
Always post high price on Craigslist most people will negotiate with you if they go lower than the price you'd get on Amazon or eBay (including the fees they take) then just sell it on one of those sites. Any time you sell to a middle man you'll get 'ripped off' if gamestop has 10 used Wiis in the back that they are selling slowly why waste money buying more unless they can get a huge bargain and a chance for a large return on it.
-
Me: hey I have this slightly used xbox1, 10 games, and 2 controllers I wanted to sell Gamestop: we'll give you $56.74 for all of it 😐
-
The Wii is like 9 years old
-
Credit or bust, friend!
-
That's Gamestop for you.
-
Wii is like 10 years old...

I wouldn't sell any of my consoles honestly. It's not worth the return so I just keep them in storage. Sometimes I feel like going back to play something old so j do. The games I keep on display though. Makes the library seem huge.
-
Well DS games are typically cheap so I can see why not much would be given for them. The model really determines the price on the 360 and controllers are controllers. They will always go for less coming back.
I'm surprised you didn't keep the stuff. No need for sentimental value?
