Trials of Osiris, or Trials of the Sweats?
Anyone having trouble getting to the lighthouse? Myself, a competitive player with about a 1.5 in Trials even has trouble reaching that goal. Honestly, even if I have troubles reaching the lighthouse, imagine the people who are not exactly "crucible material" but still want lighthouse loot? I honestly think that the matchmaking system for Trials as perfect in Y1, as it allowed more people to make it to that one destination that now, because of the matchmaking, can't achieve that goal. Y1 matchmaking for trials was great, not only to help out the less skilled fellas out there, but also to overall improve the experience by making it more casual, than it feeling like a tournament. Personal im only missing a few things on my grimorie and the Lighthouse and Osiris are two i would like to get but i don't see it happening im not a big pvp player and match making is messed up seeing how must of the matches i get are against Flawless player i don't really care about the lighthouse loot just want the grimorie score

I play with the same 2 people ever week since trials came out. We have yet to go to the lighthouse. One guy on our team is the anchor, always bringing us down. He'll go 0-15 0-9 0-12 and so on, I don't think he's ever had a positive round! Then between me and my other friend he'll lead the team than I'll lead the team and if we don't sink up its just a shit show. We've gone 8-0 a couple times but I sure would like to see it sometime. Maybe one day.

Due to sbmm in all other playlists, trials is the most casual mode for many players at the moment, sadly.

The lighthouse is a joke. Same 10% get there every week and carry a few people along for the ride. Don't get me wrong, I have much respect for the skill needed, but I would rather raise hell in the crucible any day of the week.

These players need to improve not ask for a carry. If they want Lighthouse, then they have to earn it.

2 RepliesI agree. While I get flawlesses like 8 times a weekend, it is much more difficult than it was, especially for less experienced players. It allows more skilled players to do carries as it may be the only way these people can get flawlesses, but that isn't a good enough reason to keep it as is. Y1 matchmaking was better in every game mode. Not just trials

Is a crucible raid. It's not meant to be casual, it's meant to give a challenge to the best players, and then reward then for their performance. If you can't get to the lighthouse idgaf, that's a personal problem which requires a personal fix. That's not bungies problem.

1 ReplyTrials feels like 30 times more casual than loading into clash or control at the current time. This is just my experience however, I'm sure it varies from player to player.
