The burns with viking funeral match Y1 thorn burns but do a extra tick of damage. That last part im not to sure about. What i don't understand is how people say the grenades are the only good part of warlocks, so firebolts shouldn't be nerfed. Its not firebolts, its viking funeral. Buff firebolts, along with all grenades of that type to 100 damage. Viking funeral should be reduced to about 4 damage per tick with only 3 to 4 ticks. Thats 120 damage, but it also stops regen, and you can still see through the walls. All grenades PvP wise would go to 100 damage, except for grenades that stick. Tripmines, fusions and anything else im missing, if they stick, they should kill. Grenades that have a huge circle around axion and firebolts should do 100 damage ALONE. They get a large radius and don't require much accuracy when throwing. Therefore, should do less damage. Things like lightning should stay at 122 only because it can be shot, they should really fix the range though, or something, you shouldn't be killed behind pillars, or behind boxes when that thing is around. It should be a straight line of damage just a tad bigger than the radius of lightning. Incendiary nades, keep current damage reduce burn to 4 damage a tick. That would be for PvP at least, if bungie would separate nerfs between PvP and PvE i think that would be fair for crucible. I'm sure ill get the fanboys who will just say its not fair simply because they only use warlocks and they would be the most effected by that grenade nerf. But i think personally that would be fair.
