Should Luke Smith be Lead Designer for Destiny 2?

3 RepliesI find it amusing that people love to hate on Luke Smith so much. Despite what the community thinks he [i]DOES[/i] know what he's doing. He was lead on KF and VoG. Those two raids are easily some of the best content that we have. Luke isn't great with dealing with this community but has been with Bungie a very long time. I'm confident that Destiny 2 will be a great game with him at the helm.

People hate him for the comments he makes , but what he did with the kings fall raid was really good

Lets make an entire raid to where you have to stand on plates. Seriously? Not to mention using a lot of the same aspects from Vog and Crota. Oh i loved the added bonus of adding 20 different light levels to each weapon and gear pice. And how about all that wonderful time spent collecting flakes just to literally get nothing. No, keep him away if he is just going to copy and paste with making gamers over grind for nothing.

The only thing he should be working on, are the raids. Other than that, he shouldn't be allowed near any game mechanics outside the raid meaning HE shouldn't have a say how weapons perform, or what's over used. That or just toss him off the team entirely, I'm just sick of hearing his name tossed around in weekly updates as if he's the ultimate authority on everything in the game.
